Immediate linking of DVC tix to MDE?

I'm getting ready to purchase my tickets for our summer trip through the DVC "special". I can make FP+ ressies in 65 days. Will I be able to link my tickets to MDE immediately, or will they have to be mailed to me first?

They should link automatically if you use the same e-mail address as you have on your MDE profile. If not, you can manually add the ticket by entering the ticket number. You shouldn't even need a hard copy of a ticket if you also have MBs.

When I bought mine, then tried to link them, I received a message that they were already linked.

I did nothing. Just made the purchase.

We bought 7 and linked them to each person during the purchase process.

Yes. You have to provide proof of DVC Membership.

At least i had to for APs last year. But it does seem like they should be able to do it automagically. Hopefully it changed.

That rule as far as I am aware applies only to the AP's. The MYW tickets connected to the magic bands can be used immediatley upon arrival. That is because the DVC member can actually buy the discounted MYW tickets for anyone and assign them to any friend or family member in the MDE account for use via magic bands. The only limitation the DVC member has is that he cannot buy more than eight. AP's can be purchased only for the member and those from the same household as the member, and the member needs to be there to activated them at a ticket booth or Guest Services and show IDs of any adults receiving them to prove same household.

Mine seem to be active immediately as well. The "proof of membership" is that you sign in through the DVC website it appears.

Thanks. Yes I can see the tickets and they seem to be ok to book Fastpass etc. Just wasn't sure if we were going to need to stop at guest services before entering the park. I'll bring my ID card with just in case.
