I’m doing more planting today (it’s a beautiful day here today).
Yesterday I planted 3 large pots of nothing but Coleus plants - I’m looking forward to seeing if they grow to look like I want them to look - I love Coleus plants. Today I have all my flats to plant in several large pots for out front and on the pool deck. I love having all the beautiful colors everywhere.
Next weekend it’s supposed to be in the 80s, so then I can wash down all the outside furniture and then I’ll be done with my Springtime work (just in time for travel softball season to start and then we won’t be home to sit on it - LOL! That is not a complaint - I love our crazy busy summers).

I had to Google that because I didn't recognize the name, but I have definitely seen them before - so pretty!! I like the "watermelon" and "chocolate covered cherry" varieties best:

I had to buy zucchini seeds. Once they are planted, I am finished planting veggies. There is more weeding, to do. Our sweet William flowers are starting to bloom!

For whatever reason, I have not had an abundant harvest in NJ. Here the plants succumb to a disease or pest. I have not been able to save them.

I‘ve never seen that chocolate covered cherry one - I need to keep an eye out for it.
I have multiple types in my pots - tallest in the back and shortest in the front. If these grow the way I’m hoping I’ll post a picture

I’m so happy that I got everything planted yesterday, but I’m not finished - I need to buy an additional 1/2 a flat of begonias (I plant a lot of begonias). I’ll do that on Thursday, which is my day off.

I’m also happy that DD may play this week. She practiced with the team on Saturday and said she felt good. She is no stranger to pain, so she’s learned how to ignore it when she plays. Her coach texted me saying she looked good at practice, so that’s good. DD has a game every night this week, except Friday, so hopefully she’ll get some play time. I doubt her coach will play her all the time to not overwork DDs hand/wrist, because he wants that hand strong for sectionals.

We did the Fantasy in the first year.....at the end and got all the merchandise for inaugural year 1/2 price.
