I‘m sunburned - my first this year.
I’m kicking myself for not using sunscreen today.
I’m not gonna complain though - the sun & warmer temp felt good

We go through so much sunscreen here.....at least 6 bottles of spray a summer.
91 here today,
I also do a lot more laundry with all the swimsuits and towels

looking up yanjie hats for dogs on ebay no such brand....looking for gold horn unicorn ears for dogs...a few....but none as beautiful as the one I found in the goodwill bag of party supplies for children...$5.00 for it at the farmers market....folks just love their dogs.

I’m proud of DD17 - she hit her 40th home run last night. She‘s well on her way to hitting 50 by the end of July (that’s the goal)

I’m getting to see my little grandbaby later this morning - I can hardly wait. I love him so much!

I'm back from getting a pedicure......and got a nice surprise. The owner of the shop made me 2 Disney masks.....so cute. She likes Disney too.

I’m gonna have a busy day - going to work and then DDs team has a BIG game tonight. They are playing their main rival team at their school tonight. We already played them once at our school and beat them, and the girls are determined to beat them again. We had 160 people at our game (that’s the max amount our school allows due to COVID) and I’m certain the other school will sell out too. All the newspaper will be there and it will be televised online. Both HS teams are nationally ranked and our team is undefeated. Any school we play now wants to be the school to finally beat us, but tonight’s school wants to beat us most of all. It’s going to be a very exciting game!

Baking/cooking day here.
DGD is making something for her daddy. It is cooked and not baked, so it will be different for her. Fudge!! His favorite.
DGS is making blueberry muffins.....his favorite thing

Not sure how the indoor time with Papa will be working. His office is a mess. DGS is supposed to start working on building Legos and DGD this week, is doing a digging gems and fossils project.

slowly rotating the plants to the neighbors walls who are going to water our potted pool palms and gorgeous vine pots of elephant food as we depart June 7 for Oregon... pretty potted arrangements going across the street...they should not survive ...just way to hot for that variety of flowers. Also dug up neighbor across the street tiny palm nd transplanted into our soaker hose line.

off to my 3 hour nap and by the time I wake up the computer room is way too warm.

DGD d DGD this week, is doing a digging gems and fossils project.

in the early 70s are high school archelogy nine week course we used print metal type to create a dig for another set of studnets in the class, we used tiny paint brushes to fleck away the soil and drew each level...would be fun to create another dig for DGD in a wood box and have her draw each level as she searches for clues to what she is digging. did this with son and plastic bingo markers...

I am checking out these boards for a bit while DH takes a nap. We are enjoying our vacation, but mostly because of the people we have seen, and the pool. Wearing a mask in FL’s heat is not easy for us. Thankfully, you don’t wear them in the pool area.

Good morning from HHI. This is a very relaxing few days at the end of our vacation. We get home on Tuesday. This morning sun through live oaks. Temperature is moderate.
