I'm.........

^ How was the meal and the celebration?!

We went to lunch with a good friend who became a widow in October. It was lovely!

It was very nice - Katie’s DBF was so grateful that we took him there for his birthday. He’s such a nice young man - we would love for him to be our SIL someday.

We're home.....long, very boring drive home, but DGS was great!

Welcome home!
Glad you made it home safe.

I’m without a dryer (it died the other day) until 12/30, so all my drying has to go to my mom’s. Normally I’m doing some laundry before work, but not now - stinks. I don’t like it when my routine is disrupted. I’ve always liked routines and schedules, but as I get older I like them more and more.

I'm with you. I love routine.
Good luck getting through until that dryer comes

I'm going grocery shopping today......for a few things since we have nothing.
But Thursday is my usual shopping day, so I will do it routinely then :teeth:
Also need to run all DGS's clothes and things that were packed over to his house

I’m gonna be brave and go to Target this morning to get the final items for Katie’s stocking. We both really like their makeup remover and I think she’s almost out. After I buy this, I can finally stuff her stocking (she has a duplicate stocking so I can fill it early and then swap it with the one hanging up on Christmas Eve). I‘m always so glad when the stocking is filled and done ✅

I’m happy we rode our bikes to post office today. We thought we may see these friends this month, but it doesn’t seem we will. Better to mail than give in January, I think.

I'm back to baking with the kids today. We're doing dough to roll out. We'll do the rolling, baking and decorating on Saturday at the family lunch.
They are also going to do chocolate pretzels "cookies".

I love the knight pic!

We went to Legoland with some family of mine when DS was 10 and my cousin's kids were a bit younger. They all had a blast!! (And the grown-ups loved it too - those landmark models are amazing!) I have a pic of the three kids in front of the Lego tree in my Christmas album, and it's one of my favorites.

We have the Lego tree and DGS meeting Lego Santa......on my phone. I have a lot to get off.
The couple of pictures I have were from DD's phone.

He loved all the rides at DLR, except the swings at DCA.
the only one he wasn't tall enough for was Incredicoaster.
