5:37 am and 84 out, expecting 116 today. It ended up being 111 yesterday. Our extreme heat is supposed to be over after Sunday, then back to just regular heat

Movie day. We decided to stay in for it since it is so hot out.

I’m outside reading now. One DS and family should be getting here soon. The other DS had plane cancelled! Won‘t get here until tomorrow.

I’m finishing up my packing so we can leave in a few hours. I hate this drive (3 hours) and I hate this facility we’re playing at. They don’t allow coolers so we have to smuggle water in and then buy anything else to drink at horribly inflated prices. We go here three times a year and I won’t miss it when Katie is done playing travel ball
The upside is that this is mine and Katie’s first away travel trip/tournament since November and we have so much fun - so many laughs. This is what I will miss most when travel is done. I have this summer, this fall, next summer and it’s done and then I will LOL!

I'm going to Sam's Club today and then back for the usual house things to get done.
Tomorrow we have a soccer game to go to.
it was 114 yesterday and supposed to get to 116 today. My upstairs room gets hot......and that's where the chocolate is stashed!! Melty

I’m home today from Katie’s tournament - we came home yesterday instead of today due to how the bracket was made up. It’s nice that we can be home for Father’s Day (I can’t remember the last time we were home on Father’s Day).
