txgirl and rachie, I've learned to always go to the bathroom immediately before getting on a trampoline or in a jumpy castle.![]()
Tinky, I am very impressed that you could even do the roundoff-backhandspring without breaking a few bones!I'm afraid to even try a cartwheel anymore, I don't think I'd land on my feet.

during a soccer practice last fall my dd8 and her all-girl team would run a drill, do a cartwheel, run a drill, etc...All of us (moms) on the sidelines would laugh about their habits. Someone mentioned, "Gee, I wonder if I can still do a cartwheel?" The 6 of us stood up - put one foot in front of the other and just kind of stood there for a second, as in - will I really do this or will I land on my rear end?" Proud to say all 6 of us completed our cartwheels with a fair degree of compentency for being in our upper 30s and probably a good 20-30 years since the last cartwheels. The girls all thought we were nuts but, we had a good laugh...oh yeah - one rule of thumb we all forgot- if you are going to try it - tuck your shirt in...
