When will I learn that it's not a good idea to buy a box of hair color and put it on my own head?

I thought my most recent hair color (done by a student only 3 weeks ago, if you'll recall) was fading at an uneven and alarming rate. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

So, this evening, I applied semi-permanent color (thank Goodness I had the foresight to use semi-permanent and not permanent) in the color of hazelnut, medium warm brown, and waited the recommended 10 minutes. I washed my hair and dried it and it's DARK!!!

I showed DH and he said "Looks good. It's a lot darker than before." I asked him if I should try to fade it and he said no, it's fine. I'm not so sure I like it this dark, but it should fade within a few weeks.

When will I learn?

Do you want to see pics of the darker do? Well, you're just gonna have to wait till the TR!

Well, I'm just not ready to reveal this yet. It's SO dark compared to what I had been doing!

Hey! I'm going to Disney World THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!



I can only hope that the next two days of work go by quickly!

Tonight, I have to give myself a pedicure and wash the clothes that I have worn this week which will come with me on the trip.

Then tomorrow, I just have to finish packing and we'll drop the dogs off at our friends' house.

Then, Thursday morning, we're off!

I can't believe you're going to make us wait to see your new hair color! That is just cruel! And how will I know it's you so I can say hi if I happen to pass you in the Pop lobby?! I'd probably recognize your DH from your pics, but he'd probably think I was insane if I said hi and mentioned the DIS. See? All very good reasons to reveal your new color!

You'll probably be super busy packing tomorrow, so if I don't "talk" to you before then, have a fantastic trip! I can't wait to read about your experiences. Like I mentioned in a previous post, we'll be just missing each other with our trip dates. But in the lucky event that I see you while I'm checking in, I'll definitely say hi!
