Lia & Lee-Anne's First Day In Disney: THE MOVIE

Hey guys! So my plan going into this trip was to take tons of video and make an epic trip movie. However, I really really hate taking video and so this tapered off like halfway into Day 2. So I'm going to complete a video of our first day, and that will probably be it. It's so time consuming though, so I'm kind of happy that I don't have an entire trip's worth of footage!

I did do a video diary of sorts at my 2nd MNSSHP though, so I'm excited to make a video of that once I finish this one! It was honestly my most EPIC night in Disney and I can't wait to not only write about it, but share the video. For now, we'll focus on Day 1.

Not to brag, but there's a rumor going around that they are going to cancel the current Oscar nominations due to me releasing this film. So it looks like I'm going to have a few golden friends come home with me next month!

I got so behind on this trip report but I am all caught up now!

That is so cool that you keep having these fateful brushes with Hanson! I'm the same way about not flipping out around guys you think are hot. Famous or not. I have this one similar situation to yours (though not nearly as epic) with Dave from Paranoid Social Club and Rustic Overtones. We see each other from time to time here and there. Chat. Keep it light. Everybody's cool. Well last time my friend Monique entered the equation and it was the I'm flipping out because your semi famous and good looking scenario.

Case in point. Us chatting and sharing a beer after the show: Everything is fine.

Day 1, Part 12 In Which Sand Gets Lodged Places and It Feels So Good

Hey guys! I told you I would get these updates out faster! Woo! I've been working so much on this TR and the video that I am missing Disney more than I can even say and I'm really bummed out! So the only solution is more cowbell! I mean... more working on Disney stuff!

It's a bit shorter, but you know. I have to cut these things into scenes as I see fit. I'm an artist!

Anyway, here we go with the LAST UPDATE IN DAY 1! FINALLY! Thanks for hangin' in with me, guys!

After our delectable meal at 'Ohana, it was time to go. We moved slowly, not just because we were too full to move at a normal pace, but also just in case Hansons were lurking in the distance. You can never be too careful really.

Hmm... no Hansons here... after all, it WAS VIP only afterhours at 'Ohana: No Hansons Allowed. But we weren't letting our guard down!

Every time I eat at the Polynesian, I always head out to the beach afterward, as it is one of my favorite places on this planet. So that's what we did!

It was nice that they cleared the entire pool and beach area once I, the Queen of the Polynesian Resort, arrived. I like my peace and quiet away from the flashbulbs of the cameras and screaming fans.

My latest case of Food Drunkenness then started to take ahold of me. One can never be sure when or where this will strike you, but 'Ohana should really put up signs warning guests about it. Cause if you don't get Food Drunk at 'Ohana, you're living your life incorrectly.

As soon as we got to the pool area, I just started running. Inexplicably, running is something I do when I actually AM drunk. True story: once while Gina and I were drunk and dancing, I just started running laps around the room. So it didn't surprise me that I would do this when drunk on food as well.

There was NO ONE on the Polynesian beach which was enabling to me because that meant I wouldn't be disturbing anyone by carrying on.

Hopefully people in the nearby rooms were not startled by my cries of joy. I'm sure Hanson was stalking us from their windows, but I don't care if I disturb them, so that was fine.

SIGH - I was finally in Disney. And there was the castle.

There was only one thing to do. I collapsed into the sand and just enjoyed life.

I then made some snow angels. Because that's just what you do when you're drunk on food laying in the sand at the Polynesian beach waiting for Hanson to abduct you.

What made this even BETTER is that MNSSHP was going on over at the Magic Kingdom! The castle was changing colors and we could hear the Villians show/Boo To You/general Halloween music coming from across the lagoon. So it just amped up our mood even more knowing we would be there in a few days!

AHH. The excitement was electric!

It was just a moment of perfection. Nothing can match your first day in Disney. Nothing can touch your happiness. If that kid from The Perks of Being A Wallflower truly wanted to experience feeling infinite, he should have been there that night on the Polynesian Beach. Cause that's exactly what I was.

Eventually, though, we had to get up and head back. It was getting a bit late and we had to do just a little bit of sleeping in Disney to prepare for our first full day.

Happy girls.

A bunch of people started coming out of their rooms to get a glimpse of I, the Queen of the Polynesian Resort.

Naturally, I stood by this Tiki Man and food drunkenly addressed my people.

Please notice Hula Timon stood ON the Tiki Man cause that's just what you do when you're a meerkat, you know?

This is the best picture ever taken of me.

I'm pretty sure someone said, "Good thing Obama and Biden aren't running against you guys, cause they'd definitely lose." Which is true. I mean, they're good at what they do but they DON'T wear any hula related items (while addressing the nation at least, no idea what they do in private but I hope it involves leis), and that's unacceptable.

After my speech, we headed inside to get away from the throngs of people, and checked out the amazing art!

I'm just gonna say it: I get really sad when I remember that I don't have a painting of Mickey snorkeling hanging up in my house.

I thought this was pretty interesting:

I then sat for some portraits, the way all queens do. I believe there was talk of a painting of me replacing the Mona Lisa, but I can't be sure.

I'm honestly shocked Taylor didn't walk by in this moment. He probably did but had an Invisibility Cloak on or something.

Probably hiding in that plant.

And then headed up to THE MONORAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just another moment of me losing my damn mind and running around like crazy.

I have to admit, I was a little bit apprehensive about hearing the new voice.

Monorail Voice Guy (the ORIGINAL) is the love of my life. I plan on having a child with this man that will be born on the monorail and named Manny Alejado, so it made me VERY MAD when I heard they had replaced my One and Only with some fool!

But then... I boarded the monorail, stood clear of the doors, and heard my Sweet Baboo's beautiful voice coming from the Disney Heavens!!!

IT WAS THE REAL MONORAIL VOICE GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I don't know what happened, but it was the old spiel! I was so happy.

They knew it was I, the Queen of the Polynesian Resort, future wife of Monorail Voice Guy, and they played the spiel for me!!! What else could it be? Really.

POR FAVOR MANTAGANESE ALEJADO DE LAS PUERTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also had the thing to ourselves, obviously. That's the Royal Treatment right there.

Soon it was time to leave my beloved Monorail Voice Guy, because we were at THE MAGIC KINGDOM to get our bus back to Pop Century.

It was really hard to pass by the park without going in, but I knew that we would be there in a matter of hours. The sooner we got back and went to bed, the sooner it we'd be standing right back there watching the Welcome Show!

It really inspired me! I always knew about people doing this, but never really felt the need to do it myself, and now I REALLY WANT TO! Hmm... I'm trying to cook up some ideas for Fall 2013!

P.P.S. I can't believe it took over 3 months and 12 updates for me to finish DAY 1. I told you this was going to be epic! There are 11 more Disney days plus 4 days that I was at Gina's. I plan on condensing those days though, since they weren't in Disney. But you know... this is a lot of content. I'm already tired. Hope you guys are ready! ;D
