"I'M STUCK IN DISNEY!!!!!!!!" A Delightfully Unliveable TR ~ NEW TR 9/27!!!!!!!!!!!

Maleficent does look great, I agree. I mean, she may be going too hardcore on the botox nowadays but she's the Mistress of All Evil. She can do whatever she wants... And. Still. Look. Amazing!

YAYYYYY!!!!! TIANA AND NAVEEN!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!! I love those two SO MUCH! They are my favorite Disney couple. So perfect those two. I think it is awesome how your conversation involved food. What other Disney couple can you discuss food like that and get so much response? Pooh? Well, Pooh can't talk back, so we got Tiana and Naveen, the restaurant connoisseurs instead. They are on the top of my list to meet on my next trip. I'm doing my Senior project (big year long project all graduating seniors have to complete and pass) on their movie so I want to tell them about it (and just have a crazy Disney freak out in front of them because they are amazing). Get their approval, ya know? :goodvibes

That's so awesome how Woody picked you right from the crowd to dance with him! You must've had a blast. I've heard great things about the dance parties and these were from ADULTS too. I'm probably not gonna get to go to MNSSHP until well into my college years or after so I'm totally ready to go all no shame and party with Jessie and Woody, whether they like it or not lol Excited to hear about that Disney 24 experience, especially if you say it was even better than the dance party. ::yes::

LOL @ the whole Tarzan incident! I actually distinctly remember seeing that tweet when you posted it that night. Don't know what I was doing, but it was in plain sight of my whole family, I began laughing, got tons of weird looks, all whilst thinking to myself, "Of course, that would happen to Lia!" You honestly seem to attract all this craziness especially when it involves good-looking Disney men. It reminds me of my friends who just randomly begin rating guys in Disney on how attractive they are. I guess that's why I find this so funny lol

Great pictures in front of the castle! Rainbow is by far the best color for the castle, definitely. And I love how happy you look in these photos. It's fantastic! You can tell you were having a great time. :teeth: The whole Tinkerbell colliding with you thing, genius! And I can only imagine how great the Mad Hatter's "accent" was. I've heard some great ones on the Spieling Peter videos, I've always wanted to meet him just to see how good he is at mimicking the original cartoon Mad Hatter.

Can't wait to read about the rest of your last MNSSHP of this trip! :mickeyjum

P.S. I saw this last night and I just had to tell you since I know you'd probably appreciate this. I was just scrolling through tumblr and I saw this post about Helena Bonham Carter made up as Elizabeth Taylor for the British version of the story of her and Richard Burton that Lindsay Lohan starred in. I first saw the caption to it, so didn't think too much of it until I saw the actual picture. It was crazy, I never really thought of Helena Bonham Carter to play a role like that because I didn't think she'd be able to mimic classic beauties, but she looked amazing and almost EXACTLY like her. She looked better than Lindsay Lohan and I thought they did a pretty good job with her. I know the images are edited a bit, but it was just insanity. You have to check this out, OMG! I think it's going all over the movie blogs so I'm sure you'll see it, if you've not seen it already, but it's... wow! I really want to see how she did with the role because Helena is a fantastic actress so in that regard, I want to see how she portrays that classic beauty. Sorry about how verbose this was, but I know you are a big Helena, Tim, Johnny, etc. fan so I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing this and maybe hearing about this if you haven't already.

I completely agree with you Lia. DO NOT feel weird meeting characters alone. I've had nothing but great experiences as a result.
Haha, you're really becoming a poster child for great character meets with the wonderful pictures and stories!

I'm so glad you said that about the All-Nighter. Honestly, I haven't heard a great deal about it, so I'm definitely looking forward to your report when it comes and Jess' update when the time comes.
I was at "One More Disney Day" in Disneyland and it was chaos. There was a lot of very un-Disney things happening so I was terribly disappointed. I had heard that the Monstrous All-Nighter was awesome though, so I'm glad to hear that confirmed!

Was the picture on the tea cups a selfie? Because if it was... HOW DO YOU DO THAT SO WELL? It's like a perfect photo. My attempts at self photography are pretty horrifying. :scared:

I think it would be interesting if there was a way to see how many people will now attend a Halloween party simply as a result of this TR. I bet the number is HUGE!!
Disney take note... and send a commission cheque stat!

What, no pictures of Tarzan!?! :rolleyes1

Sounds like a fun night - I'm really enjoying your report!

Hahaha, oh my gosh, that picture of Jessie dancing all by herself just cracks me up! I'm glad to see that later she got some friends to join her in her circle dancing.

Mmmm.... Tarzan! I DEFINITELY agree with you that his half nakedness makes his hotness so much greater! No complaints here!

Boo for the Mad Hatter not *really* staying completely in character, but I bet it was entertaining to see him fist pumping!

I know, right?!

I definitely wasn't complaining at all. Oh what a magical moment. :D

Oh it was! It caught me off guard, too.

OK I admit I am reaing your TR but not the comments so if someone has already enlightened you I apologise in advance.

The colour changing beer you had at the Ireland booth during Epcot F&W festival was called Guinness. It is a stout so not technically a beer, but it (in my mind) is a beer. It is not meant to change colour it is just as the bubbles and foam settle it gets this ombre kinda look about it til it completely settle with just the dark body and lighter head/top.

I hope I dont sound rude or sondascending, I really didnt mean it to come off that way.
:)

You don't sound rude! Someone actually did tell me, but thanks for filling me in anyway! I don't know much about beer so I don't really know what the difference is between a stout and a beer... but I know I enjoy drinking both! :thumbsup2

Catching up...

Great Casablanca pic in ASM. It's one of DH's favorite movies.:lovestruc It's fun to see it referenced on the Great Movie Ride too!

So glad you were able to get one of the legendary cinnamon rolls. Hopefully they'll make their way back to the Main St. bakery.:faint:

It's true, Merida's M&G location would be a great setting for Rapunzel & Eugene with the lanterns and such. That brick wall could easily be transformed into the tower!!!

Whooooaaaa! Thanks for the heads up on suddenly spotting a naked jungle man. I want to be prepared for that!

Your M&G with Tiana & Naveen was amazing! And your picture in front of the rainbow castle is soooo pretty. ::yes::

It's one of my favorites too! I saw it on the big screen not too long ago for the 75th anniversary and it was such a great experience after watching it at home for so many years.

I hope so.

Well, they were already there before Tangled came out and for awhile after, so I don't think they would put them back over there. I want them to be near the new bathrooms.

Anytime! :thumbsup2

Ahh it really was. I love those two. Thank you!

What an awesome update!!

Love Tiana and Naveen, I definitely have my favorite friends of theirs, but the meet is always fantastic and so much fun!!

Yay CANDY! So much at MNSSHP!!

AH TARZAN! Like, seriously, hello, don't know how that's an approved Disney costume, but hey, I'll take it!

Alice and the Hatter are wonderful, I do wish the Hatter was out daily, like, he's such a blast! Love the faces he was making haha!

Too bad about Gaston! I wonder if they'll replace him with someone else this year as he's a regularly meeting character now? I'd hope they'd put someone fun out there!

Clearly Disney needs to hire you!! Have you thought about doing a non-entertainment style job for them?

Thanks Kat!

It's hard not have favorite character friends once you meet such amazing ones! Like, Ariel during #StuckInDisney was SO amazing that her friend I met in May REALLY disappointed me... it was just like not even worth it.

I don't know how it's approved either honestly! Like if Aladdin has to wear a shirt under his vest... IDK. I'm not gonna complain about it though!

Me too! He's so funny! I'd rather see him out daily than the White Rabbit, though he's so cute and frumpy.

I hope so too! That would make sense. I wish they could get Hades out there for MNSSHP, oh man, I would freak.

Yes... I have thought about that for the past, oh, 20 years. But entertainment is my life... IDK, it's complicated. I'm sure I could get hired as Front Desk/Concierge because I have friends who are hotel managers for major chains so I'm sure I could get a couple good recommendation letters, plus I just know so much about Disney that any kind of role like that would be great for me. But I just don't know if I want to take so much time out of pursuing my REAL dream to work behind a front desk, you know? I mean, it would be fun and I want to SO BAD, but it also feels irresponsible. There's a whoollleee world out there and I feel like I need to stop focusing on Disney World, no matter how much I love it and how happy it makes me. Like I'm lucky enough that I was born near NYC and can get there any time when I need to and that's the career I should be pursuing instead of obsessing over Disney. But that career is so rough and Disney is just so easy! :( SIGH It's tempting. I wish I could have done it when I was younger. I tried to, but it didn't work out. Now that I'm 23 I just really feel EVEN MORE showbiz pressure since I'm technically an old hag now and I've hardly had any success. So you know. Sorry I rambled on this long to answer your simple question. I have issues! ::yes::

I've been reading your TR all week and have just finished it! You are fun and I LOVE your enthusiasm for all things Disney!

I'm about to book a trip in November and this has made me SO excited!! I even took notes from your TR of things I have to do, see and eat when I'm there (during F & W festival!). I think if I ran into you whilst I was there I'd be running up with my autograph book!!

Thank you so much! :welcome:

November is an amazing time to go, you will have an extremely magical trip! I love that you took notes from my TR. I'm so happy I could be of some help. :D

Ok, I think you might have misunderstood what I was sayin' 'bout your updates....I don't mind the one update at a time at all...it was just I thought the last two were shorter than your others (average etc.)...

This one however was FABULOUS!!! I feel like at Lia TR junkie at this point and this fix was just what I needed...so thanks! :flower3:

I LOVE the whole dance party thing and I have a question for ya.....were there any other adults there dancing?

I ask because I tried to go in once and since we don't have any kids, I was turned away...I couldn't even take a peek inside (can't remember which one it was though)....

I'm wondering if they changed the rules though and now allow adults in? I wish you had gotten someone to take a pic of you gettin' down with Woody!!

I have not yet met Tiana and Naveen, but it's on the list for our December trip and DH and I went to NOLA this past Christmas so I'll have to make sure we bring it up so DH can talk about how NOLA is to him, like WDW is to me! LOL...I wonder what they'll say about that....and then we'll talk about beignets and all things yummy, Cajun and Creole....LOL....

Can't wait for another update and your Wishes pics especially!!

:cool1::banana:

Honestly you just have to take what you can get when it comes to my updates. I don't put much thought into how long anything is. 25 pictures is the post limit so I try to wrap it up once I hit that.

Thank you!!

Um... I can't remember. I think I was kind of in my own child-filled world! LOL. I think parents were more standing on the sidelines. But you know, I gotta get in the action! That's REALLY weird that you were turned away... there was someone at the door when I walked in that they just kind of nodded, I had no problem at all getting in!

Lucky you got to visit New Orleans! I want to go so bad! I always have.. but after staying at POFQ I am just really dying to go. How will I ever get ANYWHERE else though being so Disney obsessed? Sigh..

Thank you!

Bahaha, no worries on the rambling! I do it too! And I totally get it! My Mom and a few of my friends are all "just do the International Program at Epcot" and I'm all "uhm..no" I just don't want to be down there, working there and not doing what I dream of doing, like, it'd be great to serve, or to be a character attendant, but there's really only entertainment that I'd really want to do. And it's been far too long of me not doing anything acting wise, haha. I waited a year or two before doing film school and at twenty four it's a little late to head back into dance school or anything. Eck. Haha but yeah, totally get that! :thumbsup2

GREAT update! So many great character interactions, with very short lines. So funny about the dance party, too bad there wasn't anyone there to take photos.

SO funny about Tarzan, I understand what you mean, it would be quite shocking!

And I definitely need to put Princess and the Frog on my 'to watch before trip' list. What's the matter with me? I'm falling behind!

Thank you! Oh how I love the short lines.

YES IT WAS! I was kind of gobsmacked. haha

Wow definitely! It's such a great movie!

Maleficent does look great, I agree. I mean, she may be going too hardcore on the botox nowadays but she's the Mistress of All Evil. She can do whatever she wants... And. Still. Look. Amazing!

YESSS you just have to go for it! Shame is for boring people. Disney24 was such a great experience and I can't wait to share it with all of you... but it's not gonna come up until the end of my NEXT TR! Whew. That'll be in like 2016. hahaha

Yes I do seem to attract a certain type at Disney! Oh well, I'm not complaining. My friends and I used to do that too when we were like 14-15... we would be at the Six Flags here in NJ and pick out all the hot guys and rate them & nickname them. LOL.

Aww, I really was having the best time! I'm glad it translates in the photos. I miss it so much!
I haven't seen that HBC pic, but I'll be on the lookout for it! Thanks for letting me know, I love stuff like that. Tumblr is just wonderful. Also since you love movies, I must recommend The Way Way Back! I saw it last night and it's BY FAR the best thing I've seen this year, maybe last year too. I absolutely LOVED it. If you get the chance to go to the theater you should check it out! :thumbsup2

Great update! :goodvibes

Thank you!

I completely agree with you Lia. DO NOT feel weird meeting characters alone. I've had nothing but great experiences as a result.

Disney take note... and send a commission cheque stat!

Me too! Seriously like not even one awkward moment. I love it!

Well if I'm the poster child then I am very happy about that! It's funny how on my trips from like 2006-2010 I barely met characters at all and now I love it so much.

AHH it was so great! Unfortunately Jess was super tired so she only made it like 2 hours or something during #Disney24! So she went back to the room really early and I felt so bad that she had to miss it! But my friend Gina & I were there til like 6:30 AM and oh... those TR updates will be insane. hahaha. It was amazingamazingamazing. I heard the Disneyland ones were nuts too, there just isn't enough space there. The all nighter was definitely more crowded than I expected but it wasn't too bad.

Yes it was! I do like how those came out, I don't know how! I just wanted to capture the moment and got lucky I guess!

IT IS HUGE. SO many people tell me that they are going to MNSSHP *just because* of my TR and other people have said that they planned AN ENTIRE VACATION around it! I just got a PM from a woman who switched her trip from August to October so she could take her kids to MNSSHP after reading my TR. I mean, that's just awesome. Give me money, Disney. Actually I'll just take a free room for a week. :cool1: Thank you.

What, no pictures of Tarzan!?! :rolleyes1

Sounds like a fun night - I'm really enjoying your report!

Hey, who do I look like, a member of the paparazzi? Don't worry... you won't be disappointed with the rest of the updates. :cloud9:

It was an amazing night! Thank you so much!

Bahaha, no worries on the rambling! I do it too! And I totally get it! I know... don't feel bad... me too. Honestly though just forget about your age. It's so stupid. Just do what you want. I mean, Jack Nicholson was like 31 before he even became famous. Of course, he's a man though, so there are better rules for them. :headache: I'm just trying to tune out all that negativity but it's such a focus. That's one of the things about this business that just sucks so much is that everyone else is always examining you and then coming up with an assessment of "You're this." Cause you have to be a type. And I'm like well, I'm a person, but thanks. And I so desperately want to escape to Disney and work there and not have to worry about this BS, but that would be almost like giving up for me in a way. Because as fantastic as Disney World is, it's limited to its own cozy little safe world and while that is very awesome during a vacation I don't know if I can live in that world. I'm too used to things being rough. Does that sound bizarre? Probably. But that's why I never planned on living/working there forever, despite my deep love and passion for everything Disney. I always just wanted to move down for the fall/winter season and see what it's like to work and live there for a time and then go back to my real dream. But what's always stopped me, besides money OF COURSE, is like... what if I leave and basically waste my time having fun in WDW and I miss the opportunity I've been waiting for in NYC all these years? I just want to do too many different things in life, it's hard to make any decisions or do ANYTHING b/c I'm like "Well if I do this, I'm missing out on that." :headache::headache::headache::headache:

Oh my gosh, my husband is going to be sooo excited Naveen is out during the party! He was probably more upset than me when the princes were taken away. Ok, maybe not but he was upset & thought it was dumb.

I want to dance with woody!! That would be so fun. Wdw just makes you forget how old you are and you are free to be who you are. I love it.

Wow, a brush with Tarzan! Nice! Him & Hercules need to be ripped and I kinda love it. They should definitely be out more. And of course, so should Eugene!!

Do you think I can convince my husband that we need to go to 2 parties to get everything in? :)

I just appreciated so much in that moment that I was in place where you can ask yourself where Jafar is and someone tells you he is right there. And he was in fact right there!

But I mean, he tried to kill Aladdin AND Jasmine multiple times. He unraveled Magic Carpet! He made the Genie do horrible things! He turned Abu into a toy! So I brushed that dude right off. BYE JAFAR. See ya never ya two faced son of a jackal *shakes fist*.

HAHAHAHA! I know... isn't it amazing that we can all be in a place in this world where asking to oneself where Jafar (or any other Disney character) is actually warrants a legit response?!

Btw... one of my best friends and I (who also happens to be a co-worker) have Disney "code names" for all of our co-workers - good, bad, or ugly depending on their personalities. We definitely have a Jafar! :rotfl:

I think it's dumb too! I NEED PRINCES ALL THE TIME PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

It's the best. :thumbsup2 I highly recommend it!

I wish Hercules was out EVER! I don't know what the deal is with that. I need to meet him before I die.

YOU MUST!! Just show him my trip report updates and he should come around ::yes::

HAHAHAHA! I know... isn't it amazing that we can all be in a place in this world where asking to oneself where Jafar (or any other Disney character) is actually warrants a legit response?!

LOL I know right?!

Oh my GOD that is so funny and cute. I love it.

Maleficent getting botox. Oh man. :lmao:

Wow, that's pretty awesome that you're allowed to do your senior project on Princess & the Frog! I love it! Tiana and Naveen will be so happy to hear about that!

YESSS you just have to go for it! Shame is for boring people. Disney24 was such a great experience and I can't wait to share it with all of you... but it's not gonna come up until the end of my NEXT TR! Whew. That'll be in like 2016. hahaha

Well, if you look at some photos her cheek bones aren't as prominent, while in others her face looks more natural and you can see her eyes better. It honestly looks like fillers.

Yeah, I just have to make sure I can do an applied/physical piece (which is the original idea), research and find an outside expert. I think the outside expert is going to be difficult because I don't really know any professional playwrights lol

So excited to hear about it! I'm hoping this becomes an annual thing like with MNSSHP and MVMCP because I really want to do an all-nighter in Disney like "No sleeping in Disney" FOR REALS!

Haha, that's funny because the last time I was in Disney my friends and I were all about 14/15. The sad thing is those friends won't be there for the next trip. I won't be constantly entertained throughout my whole Disney visit :sad1:

Tumblr is great. And I saw a commercial right after I read this for The Way Way Back. I'll definitely have to check it out. I've only seen animated movies this summer (Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University) so I'd like to see some live action for once. I actually watched Django Unchained finally, well, most of it, but I'm going to watch the rest tonight. It's really good, Christoph Waltz is hilarious and Samuel L. Jackson has put on probably his best performance in years (considering it's not another version of the pure brilliance in Pulp Fiction). I think I'm one away from finishing up QT's repertoire. :thumbsup2

So, I have no idea where I last left off with my comments, so I'm picking up form the updates you made after you got back from your most recent trip.

I did single rider for Everest for the first time on our last trip, and I have seen the error of my ways! I can't imagine NOT doing that now (although I think everyone should see the full queue at least once because of how impressive the themeing and details are).

I don't have many regrets, but I really wish I would have done a solo trip to Disney before I got married. If I ever bring it up now, my husband gets the sad puppy dog eyes because he wants to go with me, lol. And how can I deny taking the love of my life to Disney?

Hopping kangaroos and cheetah in a tree. We really hit the Animal Kingdom jackpots on our trips.

After reading the 360 degrees owl head thing, all I could think was "Why do these people want to turn the owl into Linda Blair/Regan MacNeil??"

I'm so glad you used a Piggies quote in your update about the petting zoo. My earliest memory is of listening to the White Album at my old house, particularly that song, Blackbird and Rocky Raccoon (yay animals?)

Yay for three halloween parties!!

OMG The HM ghost family looks awesome!! I love when parents really get into it too.

Yay for meeting Merida! She's top of my list of characters I want to meet during one of my next trips!

How annoying about that parent pushing you out of the way so their kid could meet the Queen of Hearts. That's one of my biggest Disney pet peeves - parents losing their manners when it comes to trying to give the kids what they want (or what they think the kid wants). I mean really - if they had asked politely if their child could go ahead of you, I'm sure you would have been all for it. So why the rudeness?

I'm not really big into the dance parties either, but I would TOTALLY go to one in the Diamond Horseshoe because how often are you actually allowed into the Diamond Horseshoe?? And AHHHH I can't wait to hear about your all nighter experience! I agree with you, it's one of those things a Disney fan just HAS to experience at least once.

LIA LIA LIA I CAUGHT UP ON YOUR TRIP REPORT!! And now I'm about to go on vacation and get behind again, but I caught up FOR NOW. Mission accomplished.

Okay, Lia. Seriously. I just spent my entire weekend reading this whole thing, and I am totally caught up!

I love all your pictures of ASMovies! We're staying there in September and I didn't know much about it. But thanks to you, we've requested the Toy Story section, and I'm super happy about that! I think since we love Pop, we'll love this one, too. I know Julia, Brynn, and Sawyer will, and I love anything that makes them smile!

Also thanks to this, we are definitely going to try MNSSHP again! You may remember way back in the day when we tried it once and I got more than a little sick (2011), forever tainting my perception of the party. And then the rest of my family caught the plague one by one, so not a good time all around. BUT, I have realized that I really saw none of the party, and now's a good time to try it again.

About Enchanted Tales with Belle: have you seen my video? JULIA got to be the beast!!!! It was pretty much the best moment in her life. Brynn was the picture like you, and they helped her through when I didn't know if she could handle it. I cried, of course, for both of them. Happy mommy tears.

Also wanted to note that I follow you on Instagram now, but my name is different there: it's disneyjenn1. Just FYI.

I'm trying to take your lead and do tons of updates on my TR, cause I really want to finish it before we leave...not so sure that's gonna happen, but you know...life.

Hi Lia!!! :) I'm sort of new here to the DIS, but not new to Disney by any means :cool1: Just wanted to stop by and thank you for writing this amazing trip report! You really have a great writing style, and your pics are great, too! I love how you appreciate all the little Disney Details that make it so special
Your last update was fabulous-Tiana and Naveen are so cute, and where they greet is just adorable :lovestruc
Ohmygosh, that dance party seemed wonderful. Woody and Jessie just getting down- too funny! I actually remember something like that during the day (not during the Halloween party... from a few years back...I don't think they still do it, though)
Tarzan just casually walking- :worship:::yes:::love:
Alice and the Hatter are fab- ahh, I have some great memories with them from every time in Disney, glad you got to meet them :cloud9:
And I totally understand the chicken nuggets and fries- I have to get them once every trip too. Sure, Disney has wonderful world class dining that I appreciate and enjoy, but it isn't a trip to Disney without them. YUM! :goodvibes
Looking forward to more amazing updates popcorn::

Finally all caught up!! I am loving this TR. I came over from Jess' College Program TR. It's nice to see a young lady like yourself have enough confidence to tackle a place like WDW on your own! I took many solo trips (NYC, DC, Atlanta, etc) before I got married and became a Mommy. They are some of my favorite memories. I want to teach my kids to enjoy their own company and you don't need to be surrounded by a group of friends all the time to have fun. (Though trips with close friends are fun as well). Thanks for the great TR and can't wait for the next update!! :)

I am all caught up now! Loving the updates!

I tried talking my family into going in Oct but we're doing Jan which is fine, but after reading this I really REALLY want to experience MNSSHP!! I want to see the rare characters and the stage show, especially the parade and Hallowishes! That is hilarious that Woody took you into the dance circle!! And the way you described seeing Tarzan is hilarious. I would be taken by surprise too!!
Jan is soooo far away and I feel like I need to be there NOW. I miss it so much but that's why I love reading these TR's.

On a side note that's not Disney, I went to Hershey this weekend for Mixtape Festival and Hanson was there! I went for New Kids on the Block but I did hear Hanson sing the National Anthem and they were awesome! I got to watch Hanson play broomball vs. the other boy bands.. it was hilarious!!!
I can't imagine though how phenomenal it would be to see your favorite band in Disney like you did. I don't think it would get any better than that!!!:goodvibes

:thumbsup2

I'm sure you'll figure it out! If you get in a tough spot that Disney magic will help ya out.

I really hope it is annual! It was SO MUCH FUN! I actually think it should be twice a year but that's just me.

Aww. I'm sure you will still be constantly entertained though even without them!

Love Django!!! I agree Sam Jackson was amazing but by far my favorite performance in that movie was Christoph Waltz :lovestruc

Definitely see The Way Way Back! I am still so obsessed, I just want to see it again and again. Next I can't wait to see Woody Allen's new movie Blue Jasmine and also The Spectacular Now. AHH I'm excited.

Everyone should definitely see the full EE queue at least once. I did Single Rider for years before I saw it and I was totally amazed when I finally walked through the whole thing in 2011!

Aww! Well you are lucky you have a Disney loving husband who WANTS to go with you! I'm so afraid I'm going to fall in love with someone who doesn't love Disney. What a damn disaster. I saw this woman on Oprah once talking about how her husband is a criminal and it isn't fair that she had to fall in love with him but she did anyway and so she would stay married to him. It would pretty much be the same thing as that but WAY WORSE.

Um, seriously!! Do you have any idea how scary it would be if that animal's head went 360 degrees around?! Jesus people.

Aww, I love that. so many of my early memories of music are Beatles-related!

I will definitely be one of the parents super into dressing up for MNSSHP someday. (:

Yes I totally would have let the kid go in front of me. What do I care? But I am not here for pushing!! HOW RUDE.

YAY!!!! Have an absolutely magical trip!!! DISNEYLAAAAAAAND!!! AHHH.

Well thanks for spending the weekend with me!

YAAAAYYYY you and your kids are going to LOVE staying in Andy's Room. It is one of the most magical things at ANY Disney resort. I miss it so much!

I'm so happy you are trying it again! It is one of my favorite things in the entire UNIVERSE and everyone should experience it way more than once. Especially if a sickness tainted your first time!

I haven't seen it but I will definitely be watching it soon! Seeing those magic moments created is PRICELESS! I mean, I adore that attraction but if I was a child... FORGET IT.

Ok, thanks for following!

hahaha I NEVER finish my previous TR before my next trip. Well at least I have failed at doing that twice. Oh well. Have a wonderful trip!!!

Hi! :welcome: to the DIS and thanks for reading my TR! You're so sweet, thank you for all the compliments!

The party was amazing. All three of them were really! I just love MNSSHP so much.

I agree... I love the fancy Disney Dining too but I MUST have my chicken and fries once every trip!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I'm an only child so I never really second guessed the solo thing. I was always so desperate to go to WDW as a kid (my parents took me like every two years which was way not enough in my head) and so as soon as I turned 18 and could go alone, I went that October! None of my friends could afford it/get off school but I saved my money like crazy and TOOK OFF alone. hahaha. Now it's just second nature. ;D

I am all caught up now! Loving the updates!

Aww, I hope you guys get to experience MNSSHP some day! January is a great time to go too, though. It's not as far away as it it seems. Time flies!

SO JEALOUS YOU GOT TO GO! I know that they had the *best* time there. If I had known it was going to be such a crazy event/party I probably would have found a way to go but I thought it would just be them playing a few songs and heading out. Oh well.

OCTOBER 30, 2012
Day 10, Part 6 In Which Tarzan Has No Idea What's Going On And Is Still Very Naked

HEY!!!!

I have some good news!

I finally wrote the #BirthdayFestivus13 intro and a chunk of the actual TR. A small chunk compared the NOVEL that it will end up being, but it's something! It's not ready to post or anything b/c I really just wrote the bare bones of it with no pictures. I don't know what to do about the pictures because there are thousands. All my friends took hundreds themselves individually and I took almost 2,000... plus the PhotoPass... my God. so I don't know how I can possibly include everything. I guess I will have to choose the best ones! Also Jess's pictures are in her TR so I feel like including them would be redundant... but I love so many of them (her camera is so great) that I will have to put some of them in!

But ANYWAY. Regardless of the picture thing, the trip was crazy and I felt overwhelmed at the idea of writing at TR for it, like to the point where at times I flirted with the idea of not doing one. It's just going to be so. long. I didn't even know how to make it good. I think for me, especially because my TRs are pretty much the most detailed & long winded I've ever read on here, I felt like... what more can I possibly say?

There are only so many ways you can express the same feelings. I felt like my newest TR would lack something. Like it would be a bit empty for fear of me repeating myself. I'm not going to get into how much I love everything YET AGAIN during every update. But I also don't want to be that kind of TR that just breezes through the events of the day, throws the pictures in, and calls it a night. You know?

I'm pretty sure I've put too much thought into these silly little TRs I write. But hey, Disney is important to me and I love reliving my trips over a period of months while writing about them in detail. It only stands to reason that my accounts of these trips would require some TLC.

The inspiration struck me the other night as I was basically falling asleep while doing something else on my laptop. I suddenly perked up and got the intro out. Now I feel a lot better about the whole thing. I can't wait to share it with you all!

But first we have to give #StuckInDisney12 its due. I still have QUITE a few updates for you all on this fantastical Halloween adventure.

So let's get right back into it, shall we? :D

Where we last left off, I was very satisfied by my wonderful meal at Cosmic Ray's! Oh, chicken nuggets, how I love thee. Full of nuggety, fried goodness, I headed back out into Fantasyland.

I wanted to meet Pooh & Friends in their adorable Halloween costumes, but they had cut the line off and said that Pooh would be back in a half an hour. I wasn't going to wait because HalloWishes was going to start soon! I had to be sure and see it because I didn't have a good view at my 2nd party (since I wasn't trying to), and at my first, I was sad because I didn't meet Eugene. While I was still wowed seeing it, the whole being sad thing kinda took away from the whole HalloWishes experience, so I was VERY excited to see it again and be in such a fantastic mood! If only everything in life allowed such great 2nd and 3rd chances!

I went back to Main Street and got a center spot pretty far back so I could see the panoramic fireworks well! WOO!

Since I already went into my thoughts on HalloWishes during my report of Party #1, I'll just post the photos this time.

THIS IS HALLOWEEN!! EVERYBODY SCREEEEEEEEAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

9256234267_84abd6c38c_z.jpg

EVERYBODY SCRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.

There is just something about screaming along with hundreds of other guests on Main Street that makes my soul fill with joy. :D

MNSSHP still needs more Nightmare. But at least the Pumpkin Song plays in HalloWishes and around the park. AHH I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Now I really feel like watching that movie (though when don't I). I'm watching Pocahontas though, so that will have to wait!

It was time to be turnin' around, back to Adventureland. I had to investigate this whole half naked dude roaming the park thing.

I had to meet Tarzan!!!!!

On my way, I spotted Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett!

9259013780_81b29ef488_z.jpg

Sweeney is like my favorite musical of all time and I was so obsessed with the movie that I went to the premiere (that's where I met Johnny & Tim) and ended up seeing it I think four times in theatres. Oh my God, I even went alone on Valentine's Day. Because it was about to close!! I couldn't waste my time going out with some stupid guy when Johnny Depp singing in the cinema was about to become unavailable to me. Anyway the point is Sweeney is my DREAM ROLE (I could totally play a dude!! Especially him!!) but I would settle for Mrs. Lovett. And I really want to do that Halloween costume one day. Both of them, honestly!

Ahem.

Anyway.

There was hardly a line for Tarzan!!! I WAS SO EXCITED. AHH.

I mean, not only was Tarzan looking GOOD, but I loooooveeed this movie as a kid. I still do, but when it came out I used to watch it over and over. It's such a beautiful film.

Speaking of beautiful, um........

9256234561_1a7837a117_z.jpg

Clothes: He's not wearing a lot of 'em.

Tarzan promptly fell in love with me. Sorry Jane. *Kanye shrug*

9259011632_e014a5eb7c_z.jpg

He seemed overly fascinated with my outfit and make-up and all the glitter. He did not know what to call it, so he just called it "that stuff" while wiggling his fingers about. Jane, who looked EXACTLY like she does in the movie, told him it was glitter. "GLITTER? Glitter!" he said. He talks like he did before Jane and her dad taught him English and stuff, so it's pretty amusing. He constantly has this "Dude where's my car" look on his face that just kills me.

Turk was pointing to my mouse ears and getting all jumpy and excited about it. Tarzan then asked me how I GREW THEM. LOL. OH MY GOD. I loved him. I told him it was magic. "Magic....?" he said.

Tarzan doesn't know what anything is. It's hilarious.

Then he said the cutest thing ever. He asked me how long it took me to grow my ears. LOL. I said it happened instantly. He was stunned. He asked how magic worked, how that was able to happen, all while talking very slow and sounding confused. It was so hard not to pet him and die laughing. So I told him that magic starts with a wish, and I just believed I could have mouse ears and BOOM! they appeared.

I feel like we talked about more things, I can't really remember. But it was SO cold and I felt bad for him in that little loincloth, so I said something about how he must be freezing. Jane said he was used to extreme temperatures due to growing up in the jungle, and that it wouldn't be the same as if us girls were outside like that. She said that it was good she and I were nice and warm in our long sleeves. I agreed and Tarzan just goes: "You.... Jane.... Pretty."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

What a sweetheart. I died.

All I'm going to say is I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, the person who decided to adapt Tarzan into a Disney movie. Because you are the reason that a mostly naked man can be in Disney World and no one stops it. You have done a great thing for this planet and I applaud you. Rest easy for the remainder of your life knowing you have made your contribution to society. God Bless You.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE SO MUCH.

9256235055_5b9e35a5d8_z.jpg

I may or may not have a version where Jane and Turk are cropped out. I should probably send it out with an engagement announcement to my family and friends... just for my own entertainment. Hey, life outside of Disney can be pretty boring.

And now for hilarious moment #9348094830943. I don't remember what the guy taking the pictures told us to do, I think he said be really serious or something. Not only did this result in Tarzan and I making funny faces, but my camera decided to turn him TOTALLY ORANGE.

9259012142_2501dd1f06_z.jpg

HAHAHAHAHA. I swear, he looked WAY NOT LIKE THIS in person. He looked the color of the other pictures. I don't know what happened. This whole picture just kills me though. Oh my God I love Disney and MNSSHP so much. So many magical and hilarious things happened at each of my parties and I can not even believe how much fun it all was.

Up Next: My favorite princess of the whole trip & ringing in Halloween right.
