I'm staying at the Poly and would like to stay at the Contemporary instead

Anybody planning on cancelling ressies or does anyone wish to trade ressies for august 6th-10th? We are staying at the Poly from august 6th-10th and would love to stay at the contemporary during that period instead. If anyone would like to stay at the Poly and would like to switch ressies, please let me know. And if you're cancelling your CR ressies for august 6th-10th, I'd be interested in taking the room. Have you considered a split stay?

The first 2 nights at the Poly and the last 2 at CR.

We do not wish to stay at 2 different places. I realize per availability that the 8th and 9th is available. But we're hoping to stay for the entire length of stay from the 6th-10th. Thank you for your help though. So if anyone is interested in a switch or is planning on cancelling their CR ressie, then please let me know

My best advice is to call CRO every morning because that is when all cancellations from the previous day go back into their computers. The other thing you can do is check disneyworld.com because people always cancel reservations, you just have to hope someone cancels one at the Contemporary from Aug 6-10. Even if someone does it maybe for the South Garden Wing and not a Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake view in the Tower, assuming that is what you would prefer.

When we went the only room we could get was a garden room and our last night we had to move to WL. Well when we got there we were able to upgrade to a MK Tower rrom and stay put and not move to WL. Bc it is a convention hotel (Cr) I think they get a lot of last minute cancellations, this is how the CM explained it to DH.

I assume since you're asking this again you have had no luck when calling WDW or checking online for room at the Contemporary for you're days?
