Guest dies in the Haunted Mansion

I just saw a video TMZ released of the woman getting evacuated from HMH. They blurred her face but it clearly didn't work well. It made me very angry... A) I didn't want to see that and B) how awful for her family to have to endure the tragedy in general, but then to see a company monetizing it. Shameful. RIP to her and prayers for her family 🙏

That is just terrible! It's abhorrent that someone would take a video and sell it to TMZ to begin with, and that TMZ would show it. Who takes a video of something like that anyway?

I read today that the cause of death won't be released because the body wasn't taken by the coroner, meaning there won't be an autopsy. In my experience with older friends and family members, this has meant there was a medical condition a doctor was aware of and treating, and the apparent cause of death is consistent with the medical condition. So the doctor signs off on the death certificate and no autopsy is done. This would also mean there is zero suspicion that the attraction itself had anything to do with the cause of death.

Is it really though? Can you think of a better way to check out? No suffering. No wasting away in A nursing home. No struggling in severe pain. Sounds perfect to me.
To me, it really is sad. It sounds like a nightmare. This poor woman goes to Disneyland for a fun day and DIES during a ride. She was alone and must have had a sense that something was terribly wrong but she couldn't get help due to the nature of HM. It's dark, loud and not easy to get the attention of other riders or a CM. I feel awful for her and her family & friends.

Fair enough. To me a nightmare would be getting stuck in a nursing home for years wasting away.
