I just wanted to say a quick hello. I have been lurking from my bush since these boards had only one board many years ago. I will probably still just lurk to laugh, cry, smile and be surprised by everyone. I may put my two cents in on occasion (if I have it to spare).

Happy Thoughts to all,

BTW, how does the place look from a lurker's perspective??

I won't be able to attend the DIS meet on the 23rd. My husband is scheduled to be out of the country (again) and it is abit hard going out anywhere with three children in tow.

I will sit down again in a minute. I'm trying to get the blood flowing again to my legs. They have been asleep for a few years from being in this position for so long. LOL

Happy Thoughts to everyone,

:earseek: You are the lurk meister:earseek: You are the personification of "lurk before you leap":earseek: You are the "lurk ness monster":earseek: Glad you decided to join in:earsboy:

congrats on the standing,, and btw as a newbie ( recently converted lurker ) this board gets addictive:) jump on in and have fun

Whoa! You've been around for awhile. I can't just sit and watch, I have to bud into every conversation. :teeth:
Just curious, what do you think made you come "out" now?

Oh, and by the way, welcome. :wave2:

The lurk ness monster. Too funny. My children would agree with you on that one. I have learned many things from the DIS from lurking. I have seen many friendships come and go. I have witnessed marriages, divorces, births, and deaths. Many fine people reside here. I have seen people come together for sick children (TVT's Make a Wish stories) and adults that need help or too help a "stranger". I don't know if I will be an asset or not but I will give it a try.

Happy Thoughts to all,
mt2

You should write a book for Dorothy to sell in her DIS store, My Life as a DIS Lurker. I bet you would have some great stories as an innocent observer.

I am one of those people that when I go into a large room full of new people, I stand on the sides and watch everyone. I like to check out the personalities of everyone to see what is okay to discuss and what not. Like my children as soon as I got everything figured out it changed again.

Why did I come "out" now? I'm not really sure. I think it had to do with my rediscovering the fact that blowing bubbles and watching my children chase them in the front yard was fun. I know that it doesn't make sense but right now in my world it does. LOL

Happy Thoughts to everyone

Hi mt2! I'm on the West side of Cowtown and I have three kids, too. All boys. Nice to meet you.
