Good morning all! 2nd day at Disneyland! Just woke up and getting around... hopefully today won't be as crowded as yesterday! Can't wait for Blue Bayou at 12:20pm! :-D

Oh and tmobile sidekick 3 is out soon... www.sidekick.com you can upgrade ur old tmobile phones to a new sidekick just call tmobile or visit their website... the browser has "real internet"

Oh and I bought a POTC shirt and the pirate mickey ears hat last night right before closing... I went to Mad Hatter last night to get my name put on it.. asked for my VMK card for the golden ears and the girl said "oh ask someone else for the VMK cards were out"... ahhhh! I wanted my golden ears card!

It seems like none of the cast members even know about VMK... its annoying cos they look at me like I'm crazy.. had one even ask.. "What's VMK?"

Yes! The special effects were amazing! You guys really are going to like it a lot!

Oh and they added an upside down loop to the POTC ride... just kidding!

I'm loving your trip reports, jonnyboyca! I really think DisInsider was just kidding, so please don't take his/her posts personally. I think he/she was trying to say they do the same thing to keep Dis up to the minute informed - or at least that was how I read it (as spazzyjazzy said, read the last line, they were (probably pretending) to be at DL too!).

Anyway, if you need gold ears, or the gold ears card, (if you collect the VMK cards), let me know. I can either meet you in the game to give you the gold ears, or you can pm me and I will send you the gold ears card (that would be used though, sorry).

Enjoy your your Disneyland adventure. Don't forget to turn in all the VMK quests, and visit the magic shop, the Tomorrowland shop, the Buzz Pin shop, the PoohCorner candy store, and of course the animation place in DCA for all the other VMK cards!

On Friday I saw a lot of people wearing the Capt. Jack wig (complete with dread locks). I even saw it on a little girl!

BTW, you can't fool me w/ the upside down loop! I already went on Pirates last Friday! LOL!!

If I had a sidekick I would be posting on the board too! I'll have to stick with my Motorola Razor for now. Keep the reports coming!

Oh I forgot to say that last night in Tomorrowland at Buzz Cafe the '80z All Stars' band was playing and Goofy was getting down big time! lol Who knew Goofy loved the 80s?

Whoa the park looks more crowded today than yesterday! Talk about picking the wrong weekend! lol

Yeah.. yesterday I saw Jack Sparrow walking from adventureland entrance towards main street... he was doing the drunken walking and I yelled "JACK!!!" he turned around and did a wave and bow lol he looked pretty authentic... and there's also a pirate show small stage by French Market close to the water...

TIP: For a NICE cool off go on the Winnie the Pooh ride... the "windy day" is instant cool down

Buying candy at pooh corner to get my VMK card then off to Blue Bayou for lunch and my collectors item poster/menu!

blue bayou was really nice! I had the $29 prime rib... nice atmosphere!

Did the walts apartment tour in The Gallery.. learned that in his patio he had a "state of the art" cooling system installed so you can sit on the patio in the summer... except the wiring wasn't ever finished before his death

Now in CA Disney... went on bugs life... claire de room stinks!

Now waiting for the 4pm showing of Golden Dreams show with Whoopi Goldberg... last time I saw this show I got teary eyed lol

Is it possible to get an internet connection while in the park? I wanted to try it last time but I didn't want my internet explorer to crash trying.

I used my DH's Treo when we were in the park. While we were waiting for the parade, I was emailing with friends. I also use IE and it never crashed.

BTW...I am loving the up to the minute reports! I should've done that! lol

We were there yesterday before leaving for home. We arrived at 7:45 for opening and it wasn't too crowded then. We left for DCA about 10:15 and the crowds coming in were huge! Pirates was great....heat was not!

yeah! we went there after the tortilla factory... I'm going back to CA Disney tonight and getting a clam chowder bread bowl! yum! I'm at the hotel right now cooling down...

TIP: if its your birthday and you're wearing your "its my birthday" sticker you can get a whole bag of tortillas for free at the Mission Tortilla place like 12 of them hot off the maker!

Have you been to the VMK booth to see if they are still doing the VMK tour of Disneyland? Last summer they were doing them and it was free. The way the gal had explained it is that it was basically the same as one of the tours that they already give at the park.

I love VMK but, I haven't been on in a while.

yes I have and I bought 2, 2 mind you of the mickey head bread out there at the farmers market and I got home and it was hard as a rock...almost broke my teeth...I tried to keep it as a souvenir but it got moldy...I was sooooooooo

Did you take the disney quiz to see which character you are like? It's in the Off The Page building in DCA (beast's library). My boyfriend got Captain Hook & Timon and I got Belle and the evil step mother from Cinderella. I don't want to be her!! :::sob::: lol!!
