I'm Sooo Excited !!! Along with a few questions.

We just got airfair for $159.00 round trip out of Cincinnati. This is what I've been waiting for.

Now we have to settle on a hotel and other things to do.

OpinionsPlease

Embassy suites vs Anaheim Hilton or is there some place better?

Which beach area is better Huntington or Laguna ?

What is the best tour of LA to take?

I stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn. It is literally right across the street! Extremely convienient. The hotel was pretty nice too!

If you are set on staying off-site, there is a hotel complex near disneyland at harbor and chapman in Garden Grove. there is an embassy suites, hilton garden inn, residence inn, crown plaza, marriott suites, homewood suites, hyatt. I am not sure about shuttle service to and from the parks, but there are several restaurants within a very short walking distance...outback, red robin, joe's crabshack, buca de beppo. there is also a target right across the street for any snacks, etc you may need.

the Hilton is very centrally located as well, but restaurants other than those at the hotel are by car only....or a longer walk.

Either beach is okay. Huntington is closer,but more generic. Laguna has an upscale feeling to it. I usually go to Newport.
