I'm So Nervous!!

I'm planning a big trip with my whole family in Sept 2012. The plan is to book 4 studio's and only 1 of the 4 with a savannah view and the remaining 3 with a standard view. To complicate things , 1 of the standard rooms is only for 3 nights while the rest of the the rooms are for a week - Saturday to Saturday.

Here's where I'm nervous! What do you think the possibilities are that I can get 4 studios at AKV for the same week? I know you don't have the actual answers here, but I'm hoping that maybe you could send some warm and fuzzies? I'm very much a people pleaser and really excited about sharing this experience (it will be my 2 nieces first time ever to WDW) with my family.

Gosh I have such a long time to stress over this...October will be a long time coming!

I don't know about AK, but I was successful a few years back at booking 5 SV studios at BWV from 12/27 - 1/2. I called right at the booking window and had no problem whatsoever getting the 5 studios. I wish you luck!

Thanks so much! I just have such high expectations for this trip, which is one of my downfalls sometimes. I am happy though that the booking day is a Saturday so I get can get up 1st thing and get on the phone. I probably won't sleep much Friday night either! I do have fun planning so after I get the rooms actually booked, I have lots of ideas to keep the momentum going for 11 mos. Thanks again..it was a nice warm and fuzzy!

Here is another suggestion that might help it go faster and ensure you get what you want.

When you call, just give the CM the lead person's name for each room so they only have to imput one name & address before securing the next room. Once they are all booked, you can always go back and add the other guests.

You should have no problem if you own at AKV especially if you want to stay at Kidani. It may be harder but possible at 7 months if that is when your window opens.

We typically go every year at this time, since we don't have kids, it works out great for us. 9am! I'm all over it!

We do own at AKV and I love it there. We're going to get adventurous and try other resorts but I figured that since I needed quite a few rooms, I needed the 11 month advantage. Plus, my nieces just love animals so they're really excited to be staying "at the zoo" as they call it.

I have done several trips involving multiple rooms and guests. It's a lot of work and a lot of fun. I've had up to 28 people with us- talk about juggling!

As previously posted, if your home is AKV and you call at 11 months, there should be no problem.

Wow! 28 people! I'd love some tips as to how you did it all! How did you handle the dining reservations? Did everyone do everything together or how did that work?
