I'm so glad I checked!!!

We had originally made a reservation for Nov. at BCV using the cash discount because we had used our points for this year but I started feeling bad for spending the money. I called MS and was able to change the first 2 nights of a 5 night stay to points borrowed from next year. I waitlisted the third night and planed on leaving the last 2 on cash. I called yesterday to check on the waitlist and it had come through for Wednesday so I asked if they had canceled the one day from the cash reservation and was told yes. I then asked if we could have the dining plan on just the last two days (the cash part) and she said you don't have a cash reservation!! They had canceled the whole thing!! I'm so glad that the DISers had advised to check on waitlists! I was able to rebook those days but if I hadn't called right away I'm sure they wouldn't have been available. Thanks DIS!

I really wish waitlist were able to be viewed on line so we could make sure they are correct.
