Tonight we firmed up the details of our January 2005 trip (I'm walking the half marathon). Through rewards points we were able to get free airfare (well, $40 fee actually), free National rental car, and our first and last nights hotel free at the Orlando Airport Hyatt. We also have four one day adult park hoppers (they're from four 4-day hoppers) left over from a previous trip. All we have to do is pay for Pop Century for 6 nights (crossing my fingers that there will be codes), buy 1 adult and 2 children 4-day hoppers, and budget for food/souveniers. At this point our whole trip should cost less than $1,500!:Pinkbounc If any of you have any ideas how to cut costs on tickets, room, and food, I'd love to hear them.

Perhaps holding off on buying one of those child tickets...and waiting for AP rate...and getting a child's ap. For 6 nights, it might be worth it.

But other than that .....YOU DID GOOD:Pinkbounc

Would I be allowed to get the AP rate with a child's AP?
::yes:: We've done it more than once. The rule is someone registered in the room must have the AP. That could be the person who booked-you- or anyone else that is on the registration-DH or DK. My DD's have gone at different times with an AP and an aunt in the winter, and then in the summer, we've used their AP to get the discounts. Good advice canwegosoon!
