Just had to share my excitement with "yinz guys"!!!
DH and I will be married 20 years in Sept. We've been talking about going somewhere WITHOUT the boys (they're 12 and 14). I'd love to see Boston or San Francisco, or maybe go back to Niagara Falls and do adult stuff this time. Well, looking at the calendar and figuring out when there'd be a lull in the boy's activities (so my parents can watch them without too much whining from my parents about having to drive all over the place), looks like we can't go until Nov. DH says he wants to go someplace WARM, so he said no to Boston, SF and Niagara Falls. Even though I pointed out that it IS our anniversary trip, and what's wrong with "Sweetie, I'm cold, let's snuggle"? He still wants warm.
Looked into Bahamas, Bermuda, etc. - too expensive and can't use his frequent flyer miles.
Soooooo, WE'RE GOING TO WDW IN NOVEMBER!!!!
DH booked the flights last night - using his miles, so we only have to pay $10. Now I get to do the fun part - PLAN the trip!!!! This is the first time we've been to WDW without kids, so it'll be like planning our first trip. AND, we sort of have a "tradition" of taking the kids every 2 years, so summer of 2005 will be our regular family vacation. Hmmmmm, maybe DH and I can get annual passes since we'll be going twice within a year. Time to crunch some numbers and figure out our best deal, and then let Dreams Unlimited do the rest!
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!
(Ok, now I have to get back to work so I don't lose my job. No job = no $$ for WDW.)
