I haven't been to a Manilow concert in years. I loved it when he ran through a medley of his commercial jingles - such hidden talent! Everyone sang along, too.

He's so entertaining - enjoy your evening!

I'm jealous!!! I wanted to go but I just went away with my best friend 2 weeks ago to see Kid Rock and BonJovi so I couldn't get away again I go see Barry every time he is in NY and I love it.. I think I've seen him about 10 times. Have fun!!!!

Ok, I'll share... My mom took me to one of his concerts, I was probably 21 or 22. I thought he was great and I was so looking forward to seeing him. We stopped on the way to the concert so that I could get him flowers and bring them up to the stage. Well, we got to the concert and midway through I thought that I would bring up the flowers. I had an aisle seat so it was easy for me to get up to the stage. I was stopped by a guard who said that "Mr. Manilow doesn't accept flowers" Well, I was pretty upset and also a little annoyed by that so I whipped them past the security guard up on to the stage and turned to go back to my seat. Not the most mature thing but I was bummed! That was about 10 years ago but man, can I hold a grudge!

Hey I'm not old (32 years old) and I LOVE Barry!

I have seen him 15 times and my boyfriend has been to 10 of them with me!

The first show he came to was in Vegas and he loved it so much that he bought a seat for the next night's show even though we wouldn't be sitting together because I had previously bought a Platinum ticket, which was front row, backstage pass

So he sat in the 15th row while I was swooning in the front row! I have loved Barry since I was in high school and I can't describe it but his voice just melts me and I completely understand that for many he is like nails on a chalkboard but I guess everyone has different tastes!

To the OP, have a blast, we saw him in Atlantic City a few years back and it was fun (not as intimate as his Vegas shows but still fun)

I can understand that. I think it would be a distraction to have flowers coming up on the stage. If he started accepting them, then more and more people would start bringing them to future shows. And if he did not acknowledge them, people would be upset.

I've seen him a few times and always enjoyed his shows, although it's been awhile. He really hasn't done anything new in a long time, just remakes.

I'll be there too!!! I have loved him for years and thought I would have to go alone. Turns out my friend is also a closet fan. We went with the $95 tickets but she wanted to get better seats. I told her I don't want to see him, I just want to hear him.
