i am 33 years old and going to disney july15-22 please tell me where they are so i can avoid them. You may laugh but the look so funny looking to me. :scared:

They're usually found right in front of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party in MK. I can't remember if I've seen them anywhere else.

It's okay to be afaid of them they are a little scarey.I have been to the MK and Epcot over 38 times and have seen them once. They are most likely to be seen in Fantasyland near Peter Pan's Flight. They will come out the doors between the attratctions. They are seen far less than other characters. They are actually very nice. Not to worry,if you avoid Fantasyland, you will most likely never see them......Best Regards from the MagicMaster :earsboy:

I don't blame you for being scared of them. We met up with them at MNSSHP back in Oct. and they were very freaky. Even my husband agreed.

Annie

They can also be seen in a couple of the parades.Check at town hall near the train station for a list of whose in the Parade. They are scarey indeed.
Magicmaster!! :wizard:

I took my sons picture with them near the teacups. He thought they were pretty cool lol

Being Twins we thought it would be cool to get our picture with them...they actually noticed that we were twins as well! LOL It was a cute picture, and that is the only reason why I would get a picture with them. We got a picture with them by the Tea Cups.

Only place I seen them recently was the Tea Cup ride at Magic Kingdom. They used to be at MGM sometimes, either by the entrance or the Big Hat, but I am not sure if they are there anymore - MGM seems to have far less characters than they used to. So if you avoid the area right around the Tea Cups, you should be fine!

I might add, my nephew is scared of Mad Hatter (but will still meet him, just takes him some time to warm up to the idea!), so I understand how some of those characters can be scary!

Remember. The first thing in a visit is to say, "How do you do," and shake hands. :)

The Tweedles are in a few of the parades- Share A Dream Come True at MK, Stars and Motor Cars at MGM, and maybe SpectroMagic at MK (can't remember for sure, but I want to say they aren't in it).

I agree; they're pretty scary characters! I was scared of them in the movie, too, when I was little, they're just creepy.

I have an old picture (circa 1981) of my sister's best friend with Tweedle Dum...Tweedle Dum had the friend in a headlock. :rotfl: The story behind that, and I don't know how true this is, but my sister and her friend said that Tweedle Dum chased them down after they repeatedly knocked on his head. Serves 'em right (sis & friend, that is)! :rotfl:

I don't blame you for being scared of them either! I love Alice in Wonderland, but being around the Tweedles in the parks just freaks me out..... :scared:

We also saw them around the mad tea cups this past July. The kids got their autographs but I agree with the OP, I really do not like them.

I won't laugh at you, if you don't laugh at me for being afraid of clowns.

We were very surprised on our last visit - DD had been terrified of all of the characters (when up close) when she was 13 months old - she would shake and shriek. :scared1: On our last visit, when DD was 3 years old, we went to MK for MVMCP and the first character we see is Tweedle-Dee. DH and I were awaiting a freak-out situation but instead DD ran to him and gave him a hug! :goodvibes

Unfortunately, our digital camera malfunctioned and although we recovered the pics - this was the only one that did not restore! :(

We are looking forward to our return this year. DD can't wait to meet all the characters again - especially Mad Hatter whom she met at the 1900 Park Fare breakfast!

She is still terrified of clowns, though! :rotfl2:

Sometimes they hang outside the front of the shop in Mickey's Toon Town Fair. I have a photo w/them right outside the shop - the one where you can meet & greet w/the other characters indoors.

Quite honestly, just about ALL of the Alice in Wonderland characters creep me out! The one reason that 1900 Park Fare isn't on my short list of character breakfasts-- the Mad Hatter is in the lobby!

I admit DD and friend found them creepy at first..then the magic hit..
they goofed around with the girls..and they became on of their favorites..
DD has a frog pin on her visor..one of them pointed at it and began to hop up and down, we were rolling.. :rotfl2:

I'm pretty sure I have a picture of them in Spectro. Although they don't creep me out nearly as much as the Chucky-doll guys in that parade. :scared:
