I know I posted a while back wanting to lose weight but I just couldnt get over my addiction to food....I have basically been telling myself I will diet for years now....well as of Feb. 1 I have started my diet and I feel wonderful!
We were on the Disney Wonder last month and I gained 5lbs so my starting weight went up to 240. I officially started my diet on Feb. 1 and am now down to 235
The first day was hard because I wanted to eat everything in sight but I kept telling myself it wasnt worth it. I am lo carbing and have not been hungry and have lost 1lb a day so far. I still need to get out the treadmill and hopefully will lose more weight.
I am shooting for 165 lbs, my "healthy" weight should be 140 but I will be happy to get back into a size 14 again and if I dont loose any more after that I will be okay with that.
I didnt think I could do it since I have to prepare meals for my husband and 4 kids but I just bought nice healthy things for me to eat instead...like last night they all had tuna casserole, well since I couldnt eat the noodles I had a small steak and some grilled mushrooms
( hubby wasnt too happy about that( my meal over his meal), but he knows that as long as its helping me loose weight he is all for it
)
I cant tell you the relief I am feeling not only do I feel better physically ( I have more energy after cutting out all sugar after only 5 days) I just feel great. Same with emotionally. Everyone says you wont succeed until your truly ready to diet and I now totally believe that.
Anyhow just wanted to let you know I am back and am ready to lose this weight!!
