Right now, I'm flying to Orlando.
Greg has had a swollen foot for the past 4 or so days. I FINALLY got him to see a doctor...he has cellutitis and doctor's advice was Don't Go....
Don't go????? We're leaving in 3 hours!! He said I want you to go...After much weeping and gnashing of teeth I agree - we have a 2BR at BCV - my sister and her d/h are coming tonight, my daughter and my sil are coming Saturday. Greg has a doctor's appointment Saturday. IF he's improved, he'll try to come on Saturday. If there is no improvement, he has to go to the hospital for intravenous antibiotics.... :eek:

Hi Honey - you're not supposed to be reading this - keep that foot elevated...

Lois! I'm so sorry that Greg isn't able to join at the moment. I'm sure he is VERY sad too

Just call him all of the time ... whenever you think of something that he would like ... or even when a fun song comes on the radio that he would want to hear ... call him. I know it's not better than being together, but it's something.

Greg, that sucks so much for you! But do what the doctor and Lois say so you get get down there on Saturday. In the meantime, relax, tend to your AC landscape

and get better!

Oh that's so sad. My mom has it and her foot swells so bad. Too bad he couldn't go, but staying off of it will help some.

Cellulitis is the pits! I had it in June and had to cancel a Disneyland trip. I felt horrible for two weeks. I had a great time on my rescheduled trip in August -- walked 11 miles one day. Best wishes to your DH for a speedy recovery.

If he doesn't improve and can't come down, I'll go home Monday instead of Wednesday. My daughter is leaving Tuesday - that would've been our only night alone - I'm not spending the night all alone, I'll go home Monday.
I'm so sad :sad1:
