So my snobbishness is gonna show, but if they don't do a whole different kind of spin off on a Pop DVC I'm done, I'll be selling my points and moving on!

If a studio during the least expensive times at OKW would be 10 points per night, Pop better only be 3.

Not going to be a DVC at Pop Century. That's the new Art of Animation resort, not DVC. It has family suites.

Bus drivers are known to be wrong most of the time.

Why? I personally wouldn't stay there, but why a different class of points? Obviously the number of points per night would be drastically lower than the GF, but I don't understand the need for a separate system.

Pop could be done with a lower point per night.. but no way will it be. Disney wants as many points per night as possible. They want to take people who stay at FQ and for the same price you can get studio at say BWV. Then they buy in.. and 1 yr upgrade to a 1 bedroom.. then a 2.. then the spends buckets more of $$, with add ones.. The goal would not be to have say the 75$ a night rooms prepaid for 50 yrs. It is a terrible bus. decision..

After GF.. it will be Poly.. I bet my next direct purchase on it..

Mostly because if it going to go budget it should not be on the scale of "deluxe".

I feel BLT is greatly overpriced in the point department. I have no doubt that GFV will be even MORE points per night. I have never had a desire to stay at GF, and I doubt I would have a desire to stay at GFV. I'll stick to my OKW and an occational AKV and get far better value for my point money.

I think some feel it's more "magical" to be near the Magic Kingdom, but the reality is, it is our least visited park anymore. I spend far more of my time at Epcot and AK with a few mornings at DHS thrown in for animation and TSMM!

Same here, my 14yr old feels the same way as well! I force him into MK when I have POTC withdrawls! He stopped caring about the monorail when he was 6!

Here's my reaction to multiple posts:

1. I'm jealous because I'm not there right now.

2. Don't sell MK short. You've got to check out the latest at the HM -- those ghosts that follow you home? They do more than that now!!

3. Bus Drivers and barbers! You can imagine my anxiety about 5 or 6 years back when the rumor was that OKW was going to be converted into condos when the new DVC opened.
