I used a metal comb to separate my lashes. Can't stand clumping.
When I was a teen, I had a friend who spent 45 minutes on her makeup, PLUS another 45 just on lashes. She used a needle or a pin to individually separate every lash. EVERY SINGLE LASH. I cringed when she did that and kept telling her some version of, "You'll poke your eye out, kid!" Well, one day that needle slipped and she stabbed herself in the eye. It only bothered her for a few days and she went right back to individually separating her lashes. If only she had owned a comb like mine.
The ads I hate are the ones for mascara that are clearly using false eyelashes! If it's an ad for mascara, I want to see it on REAL eyelashes.
A friend sells Younique and is after me to buy some, but I've had a good excuse to say no because I'm allergic to everything under the sun. I don't think it would be a good look for me, plus I worry about the fibers falling into my eye.
