I'm not sure I'm "getting" 180 days + 10.. help?

my reservations online say my ADR day is March 8.. so that's 180 days out.

is it that I can really call at 190 days, so I technically should have called already? or is it that I can book at 180 days out, up to 10 days into my reservation?

I'm feeling confused.

When you are 180 days out you can make dining reservations.

If you are staing at a Disney Owned and Operated report on the 180th day before arrival you can make your reservations for the arrival day and nine more days. If your reseration is for more than ten days you still cannot go beyond the 10th day on the day the reservations window opens.

If you are not staying at a Disney Owned and Operated Resort you may make reservations only 180 days from the dining date. So if you are staying seven days, you would have to make seven phone calls, or wait until you are 173 days out and then you can make all seven days at once.
