I'm not getting any e-mails telling me I have any responces.

Hi,
I haven't got any e-mails letting me know when I have gotten any responces. Is this because I'm AOL ? I use to get them when anyone replyed. Whats up??

Webmaster Alex posted recently that a lot of features have been disabled in trying to figure out software problems. This could be one of those things.

I don't think it is because you have AOL because I have AOL and I am getting all my email when I have responses.

That is one of the features that has been turned off in order to see what has been causing the problems for some users.

I had been getting the e-mail responses consistently. But then I changed my e-mail controls to include a block. I listed the DIS board as an acceptable e-mail address, but haven't been getting them since then. Is there something else I can do?

I'm not getting emails anymore either, and I use MSN, not AOL. It looks like the last one I received was on 2/24/03. I even put the disboards into my "do not block" file, but still no emails.

Hi,
I just got a notice telling me I have a reply. I had went into my e-mail and removed all spam control. I guess I must of blocked the Dis. forum without knowing it. Well I guess I'll just go back to living with spam!!

I use hotmail for e-mail with the spam block and I have been receiving messages from Dis board just fine. Very very weird.

You have to go to your user cp "edit options" and make sure that you have ticked off the box to receive email notifications...

I called MSN to let them know what's going on. They couldn't give me an answer right away, but did acknowledge that it's a problem on their end. I'll post again if I find anything out.
