I'm new...where to get some cheap tickets?

Hi....I just joined the forum. We are planning a trip to WDW for next March. I want to know if it is just cheaper to buy the seven day pass for 2 adults and 3 children with Park Hopper option.Plus, my parents are joining us so that makes 4 adults. We thought it would be nice to go back to our resort (not within the park, though) for an afternoon rest and go back in the evening to a different part of the park to throw in interest. Is there a website or discounts for a family this large???? We are looking at a 1004 cost plus taxes and fees. I need help from someone who knows the ropes of buying tickets. Is this the cheapest out there??? And should I buy them early or wait until closer to March??? Thanks so much!

First, welcome to the DisBoards. Through reading and searching you will find tons of useful information.

Now for your question.

If you got your quote for your tickets ($1004) through the Disney website, then yes you can do better. I would go to www.mousesavers.com and sign up for the free monthly newsletter. Every month the newsletter is full of useful advice and ticket offers. Seeing as how you are not traveling until March 06, then there is plenty of time to purchase your tickets. Although, just like all commedities the price could go up tomorrow.

If you are wanting to purchase the tickets now, instead of later, I would go to www.ticketmania.com and look at their prices. This is one of the same brokers that MouseSavers uses and I have purchased my tickets through them on several occasions and have never had any problem.

If you're planning on returning to the same park each day, then skip the park hopping option. You really only need it if you're planning of two different parks in the same day.
