I'm new - ADR questions

1. I assume anyone can make an ADR and that you don't have to be staying on WDW grounds?

2. We are leaving in 4 weeks - is there any chance I'll still get the ADR's I want?

3. If we don't make ADR's ahead and we are, for example, in EPCOT, can we call any number to make same-day reserv. or call ahead seating? If we walk into a restaurant, will they take advanced reservations for same day?

1. Yes, anyone can make ARs.

2. I think there is a good chance except for the most popular spots. Even so, if you can't get something you want, try back closer to the date of dining.

3. You can call te smae # you do from home. You can also go to guest services. If a restaurant has availability, you can certainly get an AR for the same day.

True. ADRs are available to anyone visiting WDW.

Possibly. It will depend on how popular the restaurant is, but call now!!

You can go to the podium at any sitdown restaurant any make an ADR for any other restaurant or you can call Disney dining. You can make same day ADRs, but because of the dining plan, many of the restaurants are not having any ADRs available and aren't taking walk ups. There is no penalty for not showing up at most restaurants, so I would definitely try to make some.

the 800 number for ADR's...I didn't know there was one, and ended up with a $10.00 long distance phone charge.. Over the entire month...I did call back several times to change a couple of times...
