I'M JUST SHOWBOATIN' AROUND THE WORLD! & getting pooped on. Jan 13 TR! NEW TR POSTED!

minus the not feeling so well this looks like a pretty decent day at DHS! Nice pin trading! Jealous of the 3d glasses one! Yay! I have to agree with you on the tsm, it's awesome, I mean, I have the phone app of the game, but there's nothing like playing it for real!

So great that you met a couple that really just gets it, it makes me happy to meet people like that who could just talk forever with you, so awesome!!

Nice on the recognized from the disboards! When it first happened to me my Mom and Paige were both all "uhhh...what?" but now they're just used to it! Baha

Oh my goodness I've been on the DIS twice in one day! Both times I have updates from you to read! :cool1:

Ugh, the BAH. Matt knows how I feel about it. I despise it for so many reasons, don't get me started.

I love that you said neato mosquito. The Star Tours queue is just so awesome.

Carrot cake cookies are amazing, I have to admit that I sit and pick out the raisins. Those suckers will ruin a bite of baked goods fast.

TSMM is way more fun at the park than on the Wii. I probably would put 20 minutes as the longest I'd wait for it though. The competitive part makes me want to ride it, plus I LOVE Andy's room.

I feel honored to know you, HEY EVERYONE MY BFF DANI IS AN INTERNET CELEBRITY.

I think I may try to collect all of the Donald vinyls eventually.. I just wish they'd make a fab 5 set!

I want all of the Disney afternoon shirts, the Oswald one you got me and then one I got at Cast Connection both shrunk in length after I washed in hot and dried them all the way though! :cheer2: So now this shorty can start buying more Disney tshirts!

That's too funny about finding Matt's twin! Sounds like a great boat ride!

DISNEY TWIN?!?! That is so fun!

I keep meaning to go on star tours but it never really fits into our schedule and I've (confession time, please don't think any less of me) never been on Star Tours and... You should probably be seated for this one... I've never actually seen any of the Star Wars all the way through. :faint: I know the basic story, but for some reason, I just missed them. My dad and my brothers love it, but eh... I just never was into it. And now I feel like it's a huge commitment to sit down and watch all 6, before them become 7-9!

I hope we can still be Disfriends.

I am so sorry for Bruce. I hope his illness passes quickly and he can get back to having fun!

I am keeping up with another trip report written by someone in the college program at WDW. She also mentioned going to the Writing Spot, I think that's the correct name, and HAVING to get carrot cake cookies before the store closed for the night. They must be really fabulous cookies!

We rode Star Tours, at DLR, 17 times on our last trip before we made it to all of the planets. Our daughter insisted on it. We are a bit of a nerdy family too. :cool1:

I'm going to need to hear more about this carrot cake cookie. I know you wrote more than that in your post but I'm all CARROT CAKE COOKIE!!

Bummer on Bruce being sick. I can't think of anything much worse than that on vacation :(

Oh no, poor Bruce!!! Being sick in Disney is the WORST.

Hahaha Matt's bromance sounds awesome!! It is fun meeting nice people in Disney! :goodvibes

Great update! I've only ever seen the Star Tours at Disneyland and I think I'm going to have to give the point to Disney World on this one. Pretty Amazing.

Looking forward to hearing more:thumbsup2

This is making me want to write up some TR's myself! Very entertaining... and I feel like I'm in the parks and not stuck here at work waiting on tables... bleck! Going to make it my new goal to write in my Disney journal more often. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on your upcoming trip and becoming DVC members!

How awesome that you managed to get an ADR for dinner! Our trip was so last minute, dinner was out of the question. So exciting that you got the grey stuff too! It sounds like not just an amazing meal, but an amazing dining experience. Hopefully my next trip will be planned far out enough so that I'll be able to check it out for myself!

I love this photo: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a336/miloface/Disney World Jan 2013/file_zps9a23c607.jpg

And your photos with the fireworks over the Liberty Belle! I've never seen Wishes from there.

Ughhhhhh that is so obnoxious about the cigar smoke! I hate when people feel entitled to do whatever they want because they are on vacation, even if it affects someone else's vacation. Lame.

DANCING RON SWANSON!!! And Debbie Downer, hahahahahah. Love.

I am SO HAPPY they got rid of the stage at DHS. And not only because it was for a High School Musical show. And now they've announced they're stopping the DHS parades? Sounds like they're planning something.....

I'm laughing so hard at the fact that Kashyyk was the last place you had to go to in Star Tours to have seen everything at least once. You'll see why as my TR progresses....

I love Star Tours!! I've only ridden it once since it reopened, so I've only ever seen the Rebel Spy storyline. My dad and I have made it our mission to figure out which seat you need to be in to be in the picture. I also love how in the queue, they have the old pilot with a sticker that reads "defective." It made me giggle.

Being sick is no fun :-( My parents and I once got food poisoning on the way down, so we were all sick the first day in the parks. Mom and I never made it to the park, Dad went to meet up with our friends who were there with us, and he said he stepped onto the POTC boat, and promptly stepped off the other side. We got to know our Mousekeepers pretty well.

I had to laugh at the story about Matt's twin, because in my mind I sort of imagined them as teenage girls with squeals and OMGs. :lmao: I always love talking to people at Disney. Everyone is just so friendly and social there. I was so uncomfortable my first time on the bus at ECU, because it was dead silent. Now at least I've made friends with the nighttime bus driver for my apartment complex.

Oh wow what a read. But I am caught up. And I've stored up a few comments- lets see if I remember them all. . .

1) How could a cast member not know Gonzo??? He was like- the Jim Henson big brother(ish) of Stich. Kinda. . . in my head this works - just nod and smile.

2) I'm a bit freaked out reading this because I've never met you- and I'm laughing and wishing I had- girl you are the type of person I haven't chatted with since. . . well since last time I went to DL honestly.

3) I love the pic of you in a fez- I don't remember if it was on here or in the video (Which was awesome! Thanks for the idea I'm stealing it when I go!) Cause Fezs are cool. (yeah I'm a Doctor Who nut too)

4) Love your Disney ears- so cute! The first thing I want to get when i get to wdw is a new set of ears. I've been debating wearing my old ones or getting new ones, but the ones I have are from DL's 50th. . . and I just can't risk losing them on a ride.

5) I'm sorry- that Gaston drink sounds disgusting. . . I can't wait to try it. (I'm weird that way)

6) . . . There was a six I swear but I can't remember it so I'll simply say- can't wait to read more!

ETA- I remember 6!!!! I'm so glad to see another "adult" who gets all giddy about meeting Characters. I feel much less self conscious now! And another "adult" who tears up at seeing the castle. I've seen Sleeping Beauty's castle at least a hundred times- and every dang time I see it when the music starts playing for a fireworks show or that fake snow falls- I cry. I remember standing in DL, still wearing my red Paradise Pier shirt and those oh so wonderful Donald Blue pants (I was kinda in costume but no one except another cast member would have realized it) after work one night, the first night of the Christmas season 2003, and sobbing my eyes out at the new Christmas fireworks show. I'm a total nerd that way.

Poor Bruce! Getting sick in Disney sucks. :(

Not gonna lie, I laughed at Matt's reaction to you being recognized! :lmao: Not surprising, Dani, your TR's are epic!! :goodvibes

Aww, Matt's Disney twin. How cute! By the end of the boat ride, I bet they finished each other's sentences too. :lovestruc:lmao:

Great update Dani the internet celeb. :thumbsup2

Re: the hat in front of the Theatre. I couldn't agree with Matt more. I've heard it's some kind of licensing issue, but who knows why really.

It's so funny how much most of us hate lines, but when there is no line, we miss all the photos.

OMG, the wookie sequence slayed me. I imagine you know what part I mean. It was just too funny. :rotfl2:

On the line at the Writer's Stop... Don't people realize that they're not supposed to even know it's there?!

The party of 2 shortcut at TSM is awesome!

It funny how generally easy people are to talk to at Disney when otherwise it would be awkward. It's such a wonderful place!!!

Haha thanks! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you agree! He just really dislikes it, but that's interesting about the licensing piece. I hadn't heard about it before!

It's so true. I mean, I think I'd rather ride without a line, but at the same time, if I'm waiting in line, I try to find the good in it, which would be getting photos I don't normally get!

Hahahaha yup, I sure do! When we got it we both cheered, it was amazing!

HAHA we are thinking the saaame way! I thought no one knew about it, HS's best kept secret! YEAH, not this morning! I couldn't believe all the people in there!

The party of 2 shortcut is bombdotcom, seriously. I love that perk!

I totally agree; I love it! We've met some wonderful people while in Disney. It's just another reason to love Disney parks. :goodvibes

Thank you for perfectly timing this update with my lunch break, because I am pretty sure someone I work with is eating microwaved cat food and drinking anti-freeze.

I'm horrified to buy the TSM game in case it desensitizes me, then I won't get as excited to ride it anymore. It's my favorite. Probably because I always beat Johnny. Also probably why I hate Buzz, because he always wins...
But you guys should try doing the Easter eggs on the ride next time!

Bahaha, you know I timed it perfectly just for you, right?! That's quite unfortunate about the cat food/anti-freeze. WOMPWOMP.

I think it's probably a good call to not buy TSM. I mean, yeah. I think Matt would like it more if it had more than just screens. Like Buzz Lightyear, at least it's got actual animatronics and such. I can see his point on that... but I still have fun on it, so whatev.

I need to do some research evidently about these Easter Eggs, because we're missing out!

Love BOTH of your trip reports!! I own at BCV and they are by far my favorite resort at Disney!!! You have motivated me to try to do a trip report when I go on my Ultimate Disney Trip! DL, WDW, and Disneyland Paris between Christmas and New Years!

Aw thank you so much! I'm glad you're here! And that is amazing that you own at BCV; it really is out absolute favorite!!

Your trip sounds like the most epic Disney trip I've ever heard of! I really hope you do a TR because that sounds amazing.

OMG i just bought that same Donald duck vinylmation yesterday at The disney store cause it was on clearance for 3.99 lol I think its too cute ( I also bought the goofy one from the same theme for my older daughters bday, but she won't know until October)

Haha yay! Yeah, I knew they were on clearance when I got him because he kept showing up in the trade boxes! But I didnt mind, he's cute and I didn't have him yet. Good call on picking those up though, they're too cute!

Poor Bruce! I totally feel his pain, as I once got a stomach virus that activated as we were PULLING INTO THE HOTEL PARKING LOT at Disney. Ugh. Bless his heart!

You little internet celebrity--cracking me up!

Did you at least exchange contact information with Matt's twin?

Argh, and why is my ticker showing that we are no longer counting down? I have TWO DAYS! C'mon ticker, work with me!

Yeah, that is NOT fun at all! Blergh, I'm sorry you got sick, too. Being sick in Disney is the worst. :(

Bahaha, it was funny. Matt's look he gave me was hilarious.

We didn't! It was one of those situations where afterwards I thought we should have, but they were only there for like a super fast trip, so I think that had been their last day in the parks. They were awesome though.

I don't know, but YOU ARE IN DISNEY NOW! Soooo holy cow that rules.

Yay, Friendship boats! I just tried a Friendship boat on this past trip, and it was so nice, just to relax and look at all the sights on the way over to DHS! :cool1:

I love the Tower of Terror! The drops are the best part!!! :cool1: Love the pictures of you guys on there, ugh, the pictures of Brandon and I are always so ridiculous! He screams so loud, and he purposely makes faces, just so the pictures look awful! :rotfl:

Poor Bruce, feeling sick in Disney is no fun!

I love Star Tours, but I can only go on it once, I don't normally get sick from rides, but there's something about that one that makes me a little queasy! I can't believe you guys have seen all of the sequences, that's impressive! :thumbsup2

Haha, I'm just like Matt, I'm not a big fan of small talk or talking to strangers usually BUT in Disney, it's different! Everyone is usually so friendly, and people just want to talk about DISNEY! It's fantastic! :thumbsup2 I wish I had Disney friends in real life, a Disney couple to hang out with and plan vacations with would be so awesome! :yay:

YAY! I'm glad you finally went on one! I'm surprised you hadn't before though when you stayed over at BC!

Baaahhh those drops kill me. Hahaha, I wouldn't even worry about the faces you guys are making. I mean, did you SEE MY FACE?! That is clearly not a good photo of me, hahaha.

No, Bruce felt awful and you could really tell he wasn't feeling very good.

Haha see, that's like me with TOT. Star Tours I could ride like over and over again and love every second of it! We like Star Tours a bit, haha.

It is way different in Disney for sure! Those people were so nice and it was just such a great way to spend our boat ride. Bruce and Amy are the closest friends we have to liking Disney. They're not as fanatic as we are over it, but they loved it enough to join us, so that's good!

Oh, poor Bruce :sad2:.
Well, gosh, I love the idea of a Disney twin!! Oh, wait!:lmao:
I know that Brandon and I are always more willing to talk to people at Disney than we are in real life. I mean, if they're there, they must want to have fun and be kids at heart, right?? I think that holds true about 90% of the time. (It's a fact.)
We have the Toy Story Mania game on our xbox 360, and I have to say that it is NOT comparable to playing it at DHS! Sorry, Matt! BUT, with that said, I'm with him about not waiting long for it. I just can't.

Plus, I got peed on the last time I was in line there, so...:rolleyes1

Bahaha, because we are twins. That's already been stated and is very much clear! :rotfl:

Yeah, I'm totally with you on that. People in Disney, or well, most of them, are fun to talk to! You get your baddies here and there, but I've met some fantastic people there!

Haha Matt's response to that was basically that he wishes it had something other than just screens to shoot at.. and I can see that! Like even just something similar to Buzz Lightyear... but still different. I dunno! I just know I'm not willing to wait in a 40 minute line for it, either.

Being peed on is clearly a fabulous way to wait in line... oh wait noooope.

The hat didn't really bother me... until I saw what Hollywood Boulevard looked like without it. It's not really the hat that bothers me, it's the location. I don't know where else they could put it really, but I'd be sad to see it go altogether! So basically I agree with you... hahah.

Poor Bruce. :sad1:

People that don't play video games can't buy the game for home! It's just so much fun.

Ahh I want the PIGLET PIN!!!!!!!

Look at Matt, makin' friends! Disney magic takes away the awkwardness, I tell ya. :goodvibes

Yeah, it makes me kind of sad when I look back at photos of it pre-Hat. I mean, that WAS the center of the park and now it's covered up. :( But yeah, the hat isn't awful, it's just a bummer it has to be so ginormous.

Haha that is very true! I still make sure we get on it at least once every trip though. If it was less popular/had less lines, it'd be a huge favorite for me. I just really don't like the race for FPs/dealing with the line.

I love that Piglet pin, it's just too cute!

Hahaha, yeah, I just couldn't get over how similar the two of them were! It was kind of crazy... but adorable.

minus the not feeling so well this looks like a pretty decent day at DHS!

Baha

It was a pretty good morning! I wish the crowds hadn't been as crazy as they were, but otherwise, it was a fun morning at DHS! Thank you, I have wanted that pin forever so when I spotted it was I pretty excited!

TSM is fun, juuuust better when there isn't a massive wait.. which is never, hahaha.

Yeah, I loved meeting those people! They were so awesome to talk to.

Bahaha, yeah, it was pretty hilarious. I mean, I've had DISmeets and whatnot, but to be recognized just made Matt crack up. I love it though! It's fun running into random people from the DIS!

HAHA YAY! I'm glad I had updates just ready for you to read!!

Hahaha, I love that you both share that same feelings for the hat. It kind of makes me happy.

And I'm glad you appreciate my lingo. I'm just so cool, clearly. And yes, Star Tours is the best.

I am not a fan of raisins, but I just eat 'em in the cookie. But I understand why you'd pick them out. They are just unnecessary in such a delicious treat.

Yeah, I enjoy it but just not a massively long wait for it. I'm a little competitor, but Matt isn't really at all.

HAHAHA it was kind of hilarious and I'm glad you feel honored. :rotfl:

A Fab 5 set would be wonderful. I would collect it in a heartbeat!

YAY! I'm glad they fit you better now! I wanted to get you an XS for Oswald but it only came in small. Boohiss!

It was a wonderful boat ride and they were nice people. Love those moments in Disney!

I hope we can still be Disfriends.

Haha it WAS fun! I just couldn't believe how much they were alike!

OKAY SUSIE. I'm trying not to get upset over here! Hahaha no I'm kidding. It's okay, though I think if you just sat down and watched them you'd love them! Well at least 4-6... 1-3 are meh. Do them in sets of 3! It's just such an awesome franchise. DOOO IIIITTTT!

And yes, we can still be DISfriends, hahaha.

Yeah, we felt so bad for him that morning. He was in bad shape. :(

Oh! I'm guessing Jess? Haha, I read the same update! Those cookies are so good, I HIGHLY suggest getting them if you can!

WHOA! That's impressive!! I love Star Tours, so I totally approve of that plan!! Haha. It feels good to get them all done!

I'm going to need to hear more about this carrot cake cookie. I know you wrote more than that in your post but I'm all CARROT CAKE COOKIE!!

Bummer on Bruce being sick. I can't think of anything much worse than that on vacation :(

Um, it's only the most amazing treat ever! I promise I'll give a little review of it in a future update when I actually sat to down eat it, haha. It's so good.

Yeah, it was really terrible for him. :( Ugh, and let's just say... well, we'll see how things continue on. :/

Looking forward to reading all about your trip!

YAY! Glad to hear you're along for the ride!!

Oh no, poor Bruce!!! Being sick in Disney is the WORST.

Hahaha Matt's bromance sounds awesome!! It is fun meeting nice people in Disney! :goodvibes

Yeah, I can't imagine it was any fun. Who wants to be stuck in their bed when DISNEY is outside your door?! :(

Hahaha, his bromance was utterly amazing. Little twinnie BFFs!

Great update! I've only ever seen the Star Tours at Disneyland and I think I'm going to have to give the point to Disney World on this one. Pretty Amazing.

Looking forward to hearing more:thumbsup2

Thank you very much! Oh man, the Star Tours in WDW is pretty amazing! The design of the queue is just too cool. But otherwise the two are pretty similar!

Can't wait to share more here soon!

This is making me want to write up some TR's myself! Very entertaining... and I feel like I'm in the parks and not stuck here at work waiting on tables... bleck! Going to make it my new goal to write in my Disney journal more often. Thanks for sharing!

You should totally do it!! And I'm glad you're enjoying my TR! :) I hope you do write one because they're a totally fabulous way to relive a trip!

Congrats on your upcoming trip and becoming DVC members!

Thank you so much! We are beyond excited!!

Yeah, that dinner was amazing. I hope you can get there are some point for dinner because it is SUCH a cool experience! Hopefully the hype around it starts to die out at some point though so ADRs aren't as hard to get.

Thank you! I really liked that spot for photos, it was so beautiful. And yeah! The Liberty Belle was a new spot for us and it was amazing! I was glad we caught it over there.

Yeah, I wanted to smack those cigars out of their mouths buuuut I held myself back, haha. Ugh, very unfortunate.

I'm glad you enjoyed my gifs because they crack me up, hahaha.

OMG thank GOD someone else understands my dislike for that darn stage! The worst. And yeah, I'm very intrigued to see what is coming along in the future in that park!

Bahaha, well I have an idea as to what is going to happen. That's so funny! :rotfl:

I love Star Tours!! I've only ridden it once since it reopened, so I've only ever seen the Rebel Spy storyline. My dad and I have made it our mission to figure out which seat you need to be in to be in the picture. I also love how in the queue, they have the old pilot with a sticker that reads "defective." Star Tours is fantastic! The Rebel Spy storyline is actually always part of the story! So someone is always chosen as the Rebel Spy on your ship... and I was actually chosen during our 2012 trip! It's actually not a seat, but rather the CM chooses. I am 99% sure of this, because when I got chosen, it was after the CM operating our ship and I bonded over the TV show LOST (because he saw pins I had on my bag from the show). I've heard others saying the CMs definitely chose. So yeah!

Being sick is awful in Disney, ugh, that sounds awful for your family! I would have been so sad. :(

Hahaha, it was kind of like that! They were just bonding left and right! But I agree, making friends in Disney is really awesome. :thumbsup2

Oh wow what a read. But I am caught up. And I've stored up a few comments- lets see if I remember them all. . .

I'm a total nerd that way.

Aww yay! Thank you for joining my TR and catching all the way up!!

1. I have no idea! It was so weird, haha. I'm still trying to figure it out!

2. Hahaha, this comment is awesome. I'm glad you don't think I'm just some weirdo or something. :rotfl:

3. That was from the video, but thank you! Haha, we were exploring Morocco and I just felt the need to throw that thing on! I haven't watched Dr. Who but Matt started to and liked it. It's something I need to sit down and watch!

4. Thank you! And yeah, I wouldn't want to lose the 50th ones... juuuust means you'll have to find an awesome new pair to wear around the parks!!

5. Hahaha, it's good! I mean, if you like apple juice. Otherwise you will probably think it's awful.

6. YAY! I'm glad you're in for the ride, woohoo!

Oh wait, 6. Heck yeah I do! I was the only one in our group who cared about characters though... and OMG, I get what you're saying about the castles! I got teary when we watched the snow fall in Disneyland. It was BEAUTIFUL. I just wish the fireworks show had been clearer because the weather was so bad. But the snow more than made up for it! :goodvibes I'm a nerd about it, too, sooo you're not alone!!

Ugh yes, it did. It really did. And there was nothing we could do for him. :(

Hahaha, it was hilarious. He just gave me a look because of the SAME thing happening during our last trip! :rotfl: But thank you so much! :goodvibes

Yeah, it was pretty adorable! I just couldn't believe how alike they were! Matt loved how the guy even had his Donald Duck hat SIGNED by Donald. The guy got big points from both of us for just not giving a crap in Disney and having a blast, kind of like us. :thumbsup2

Chapter Sixteen: Reunited with that beautiful bread pudding!
Day 3: January 19th, 2013

After saying goodbye to our new friends, we decided to go in the main entrance to go to the Marketplace to fill up out mugs, and I just had to take a photo on my iPhone because it was so beautiful out!

file_zps8ca5d695.jpg

While we were heading back to our room, Matt randomly decided to go look over in the little pond area near the Villas to see if there were any turtles like last year. Sure enough, there were!

file_zps43a56123.jpg

I was so happy to see there were turtles again, and they came right over to us to see if we had any food for them. I love turtles, so this made me really happy.

We finally got back to our room, and I took some photos of all the pins we'd traded so far, along with the Vinylmation I'd bought.. Of course, I failed at getting a photo of Matt's Darkwing Duck t-shirt, but again, it'll pop up later in this TR.

While we were in our room, Amy stopped by and told us that Bruce had almost passed out on the boat ride back to Beach Club! I guess one of the CMs asked if he was okay or if he was getting seasick (we kind of laughed at this since the Friendship boats don't rock, haha)...

But yeah, thank God Amy had gone back with Bruce because I don't think he'd have made it back by himself. He obviously wasn't going to come to lunch with us, but told Amy to go with us so he could sleep.

The three of us headed out to go get a bus to Downtown Disney, and it was somewhat busy, but at least we got seats!

file_zps9ae872bb.jpg

So, this was the first time I got a little bit annoyed with the buses for our resort. Basically when you're going to DTD during a busier time, the bus goes to Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Swan, AND Dolphin.. 5 stops! So it takes an eternity to get there... Why Disney thinks this is a good idea, I do not know. It's honestly kind of surprising considering these are deluxe resorts, so you'd think the bus service would be a bit better or they'd split it up into 2 buses instead of 1.

Also oddly enough, I do not recall our previous trip having to share a bus with all of those resorts... but maybe I'm crazy and we did. Who knows.

We got to DTD just in time for our reservation at 1:10... if you know us well, you knew exactly where we were headed...

Raglan Road of course!!

We were seated very quickly and our waitress was SUPER friendly. I was glad we had a nice waitress this time, considering our last trip to Raglan Road left something to be desired when it came to the service... especially since the lady forgot to give us the amazing bread!

Anyway, we put in our orders and our waitress was right on top of bringing us out their amazing soda bread and brown sugar with Guinness reduction... AMAZING.

file_zps268b9dc4.jpg

I LOVE this bread and reduction SO much. It's so so good. The bread is a darker soda bread and the reduction is this sweet bit of perfection. Basically, we love it.

I also love the stained glass windows in this restaurant. It's honestly a beautiful restaurant; and in case you didn't know, Raglan Road was actually built IN Ireland, then shipped to Downtown Disney.

We didn't wait for very long before our lovely waitress was bringing out our food. We actually all ordered the same thing... The Lobster Club, which comes with a Lobster & avocado salad, crispy prosciutto, watercress & citrus herb mayonnaise... and we all got the onion rings as our side.

It was SO good. I love that sandwich... and their onion rings are to die for!

We enjoyed our meal, but were all feeling kind of bad that Bruce couldn't be there. Poor guy was stuck with chicken noodle soup, wompwomp.

After we finished our lunch, our waitress asked us if we were planning on dessert.

Um, HECK YES. I am pretty sure I very enthusiastically told her that I already knew what I was getting... THE BREAD PUDDING. She agreed it was an excellent choice, because she knows what I know: it's the BEST bread pudding you'll ever eat. FACT.

Guys and gals, if you have never tried the bread pudding at Raglan Road, you haven't lived. It's my favorite dessert in Disney World. It's actually WON AWARDS... at least that's what our waitress said.

Anyway, Matt and I both got the Bread Pudding, which comes with a custard sauce and butterscotch sauce, while Amy went with the Bakewell Beauty, which is their pear tart... but I didn't get photos of it because I was too focused on my Bread Pudding.

When our desserts came out, I was so excited I may have been dancing in my seat.

file_zps4f33d35f.jpg

Put the two together... and it's perfection.

file_zps7bf0832c.jpg

Oh my GOD.. I just can't even describe how good it is.

I ate most of it but then got to that pretty full state.

You know, there's "Hey, I'm feeling good at this level of food in my stomach! YAY LIFE!" then there's, "Hey, I'm actually slightly uncomfortably full, but I'm okay! LIFE'S GOOD!" and then there's, "OHDEARGODWHATDIDIJUSTDO? WHY?", AKA "I'm miserably full" level. I didn't want to get there, so I stopped.

But then our waitress egged me on to eat my last like... two bites. AND I DID. And it pushed me over the edge and I felt miserably full.

All that being said... IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

We love Raglan Road, it's our favorite restaurant (tied with Via Napoli for me), and we were happy (albeit a little miserably full) when we finally headed out.

We decided to do some shopping, so we headed towards the Marketplace to look around!

file_zps287b351f.jpg

That photo is deceiving because it was actually bumping in DTD! Of course, we did a little looking in the Lego store. We're both Lego nerds, so it's just kind of a necessary stop, though we never buy anything there.

file_zpsb27acd2c.jpg

file_zps4ad9999f.jpg

We decided to go to World of Disney, but didn't last very long due to the crowds in the store... soooo we walked out empty-handed.

file_zps6a3f874a.jpg

I must have traded pins in there, though, because as were decided to head over to the Marketplace bus stop, I took a photo of this Minnie pin..

file_zpse1c971ff.jpg

Anyway, we waited for a little bit for a bus, and finally one showed up... and then we proceeded to stop in 85 places before we finally got back to Beach Club at 3:45.

file_zps3bcf2837.jpg

Amy wanted to check in on Bruce, as we were hoping he might be able to join us for a little adventure, so we decided to go back before heading out. Of course, we stopped again to say hello to our turtle friends... and there were A LOT more turtle friends hanging out now... We counted 14!!

file_zpsaae67427.jpg

Okay, you can't see them in that photo but there really were 14 turtles!

Unfortunately, Bruce was still not feeling well at all, so he was out for the night. At around 4:30, we decided to head out to catch a bus to the one park we hadn't visited yet... ANIMAL KINGDOM!

Continued in next post

I've heard nothing but good things about the bread pudding! It's on my "to eat" list, that's for sure! Disney food, yum.

I really don't like the bus system at Disney, except at like, AKL, Pop and AoA, they're the resorts that the busses only go to that resort, and don't have a million "mini inside resort stops" like CBR or CSR. I don't get why the deluxes dont have their own busses. :confused3

ohhhhh that does look yummy,I can't wait to get there n eat all the yummy Disney food :D for now i'm being good and eating healthy but i'm fully letting loose as soon as I spot my first palm tree!!

Just had to stop in and say I love your TR's.

My daughter collected that same pin set with the big squares when we were there. So nice being able to find a full set!

And I swear up and down that Disney needs to do a full blown lysol bomb on all the parks. There is some one day bug that people get! I've read about it in like 4 TRs recently! Get to lysol-ing Disney!!!!
