Oh man...'settle' was, yes 'was', my favorite command. My current dog just doesn't get it!! I can't even get him to stop barking, much less settle. Where are you next week-end? So, as in my newest command...."waaiitt".

...Scarborough,Maine. Vacationland Dog club is putting this trial on. I can't wait!! Last week I did not train at all. I like to give my girl some time off so she doesn't get bored . Too much training and you get a dog that's "ringwise". This week we will train only outside in fields.
Goofy4tink,"wait" is a very good command to teach . A lot of handlers use only the "stay" command. I know my dog knows the difference. "Wait" means I'll be asking her to do something. "Stay" means don't move!
