OK so we go to OOB in Maine every year. Been going for the last 12 years and the last 6 at the same place. My knees are getting old and I am too young for fake ones and every year we try to ask for a 1st floor. This past summer we asked to be put in the new one the owner was building, he forgot, we tried to remind him about his promise and he even wrote on our reservation needs a 1st floor. We said were going to have to look around for a 1st floor and would let him know if we were not going to stay, I have the emails. We let him know in time and he misunderstood and gave our place away. I am sick.....we have friends that we have made that all go the same week. It is relatively inexpensive so that we can afford to go and one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. It also is one of the very few places that will hold all 7 of us. I have been walking around moping all weekend and feel like a I lost a friend. I know this is minor compared to others problems but I needed to vent. Oh yeah and the kicker to this whole thing is my family found out where we were staying and got in last year and will be going again this year! Thanks for letting me vent!
