Hi everyone
Well them 2 nights well and truly flew past, i can't believe i am home already
My Sister in law loved it,and i mean loved it
, she is already planning to visit with me again later on next year.
Best Bits
1) Getting upgraded from a standard room to a Montana with a lake view room, slippers, robes, choc coins, water, a rose and best of all VIP breakfast passes.
(It's amazing what you get when ask, especially if when you mention that on your last visit to the hotel you were downgraded
)
2) The one hour window for AP holders in Toystory Playland which was 8.30-9.30, fab, fab, and fab again. All 3 rides done and dusted in half hour. It was practically empty.
Be warned though if you are visiting soon whilst it is still running as there is alot of confusion surrounding it. Reception at the Sequoia said it wasn't on anymore, City Hall said it was but for non AP holders there was a charge of 9 euros when accompanied by an AP holder
In reality it was as simple as walking up, showing my AP and telling them that my Sister in law was my guest.
3) Getting everything we wanted done
Not so good bits
1) The weather on Wednesday, rain, rain and a bit more rain. We had to make an unplanned pit stop to the Hotel New York and pop into their toilets with our cases to get changed, soaked through to the skin is an understatement and we both had rainmacs on.
Here are a couples of photos of just how bad it was at one point.
2) BBWWS, i am sad to say that although i loved the show the food was dire and it was a bit of a shambles. We were sat in green right at the top in the middle, good seats, but 10 mins into the show we still had no cutlery, metal bowls, nothing
Others colours at the top seemed to have theirs ok, it just seemed to be green. When the food did eventually arrive (wasn't served to us like all the others) it was only lukewarm at best.
It was a real shame as i had high hopes for the whole evening and would have been a bit miffed if i had of paid full price.
The only thing that is starting to concern me now a little is whether or not i will be ok on my own for 4 nights, having someone with me the whole time has made me worry a bit about being on my own now with no-one to talk to.
Although having already booked the Eurostar it would mean losing £69 if i cancelled and the deposit i paid for the hotel.
Think i will have to have to sit on it for a while and decide what to do
