If Webmaster Alex will explain to me what a server is supposed to do that fails to happen so often...and exactly what it is that the server is doing that keeps it so dang busy, I'll even buy him a drink.

All this server crap might be easier to deal with if I had any clue what was going on.

I thik the one and only thing everyone on the DIS can agree on is that we're a little tired of the server being so busy.

Well, back in the old days when there weren't so many DISers , we would fill up a page of posts about once a day.

Now, just look at this place. It's crowded around here. There are all of these Johnny-come-latelys posting to their hearts' content...playing games and creating a hullaballoo over folks like Taylor Hicks...quite frankly, I'm not surprised that handsome webmaster Allen (is that his name??! ) would rather be at a bar...

I would like to stand up for the environmentally-conscious sect of the DISboards and recommend that ya'll just quit posting so much so that I can enjoy the boards more often...

I'll take a drink. I know he explained about a week ago why it's been busy. Basically, as I see it, the Dis is getting to be real big and the servers it's on just can't handle it at times. Of course I could be wrong. The servers are probably out having a drink...that's why their busy.

I don't know...my DH is serving jury duty and he did call me about some trial that's coming up. Something about someone killing the server. Someone named Ms Beans. Funny name, huh?
