Anyone ever read the oh-so hilarious joke list entitled “20 Ways to Maintain a Healthy Level of Sanity?” Well I sure have and one of my favorites is '#10 Order a diet water whenever you go to eat, with a serious face.'
It’s actually pretty necessary that you google this list now- it's hilarious. My other two favorites:
#1 At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.
#19 Tell your children over dinner, ‘Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go.’

OK Dayna, stop messing around. You’re not here to reiterate other people’s jokes!

Welcome to Dayna’s VERY FIRST Dining Review entitled “I’m Going to Need a Diet Water” because once this is over I’m going to gain 15 pounds and I’m going to need to drink only diet waters… haha. We’re leaving Sunday night at 10 PM arriving on Monday morning and will be there for TWO WEEKS! Sept 15-29.

Well, I wish I could post pictures of the cast. I WILL! Eventually. I don’t have any quite yet but I have 12GB of picture taking awaiting WDW ’08 so I am sure I can squeeze in a few.

Who’s going?
Me! Of course, or I wouldn’t be writing this. I’m Dayna- newly 21, it’s a good thing I’m going during the first three days of the Food and Wine Festival. I’m someone who has just VERY recently decided to abandon my picky eating ways, I was VERY PICKY. I’m going to try a lot of new things while in the World, but still not going to eat two things: shrimp and mushrooms.

My mom- Lynn. My mom is celebrating a birthday while at Disney World, just like last year so definitely expect a birthday cake picture post and review very early on as it’s being made for our 1st ADR day at Disney- the Garden View Tea Room.

Where are we eating?

ADRs as of now include:
Garden View Tea Room
Kona Café- dinner
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Coral Reef- dinner
Kona Café- breakfast
Artist Point
Jiko
Les Chefs de France- dinner
Le Cellier- dinner
California Grill
Narcoossee’s

We’re ON THE FREE DDP!

So of course we have a ton of Counter Service restaurants to eat at, and although these are never permanent until we actually go, planned restaurants include:

Pinocchio Village Haus
Flame Tree BBQ
Wolfgang Puck Express
Earl of Sandwich
Tangierine Café
Casey’s Corners
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
Sunshine Seasons
Cantina de San Angel

And of course, the many delectable foods and drinks of the Food & Wine Festival!

I cannot wait until we leave!

UM, I FORGOT ONE KEY PART TO OUR TRIP :scared1:

We're going to be heading out to NYC from Sept 19-21. Why would we leaving fabulous WDW? Well, I'm a HUGE baseball fan and I know any baseball fan would appreciate anyone going to the final games at the historic Yankee Stadium which is what I am doing! I really had planned on going by myself but once my mom heard that the World of Disney store on Fifth Avenue was going to be moving to uh... Brooklyn :confused3 and would be shrinking in size- it was the final straw so she decided to tag along.

We are going to be away from WDW for three days :sad1: but will be eating at two very famous eateries while away:
Tavern on the Green- Sunday brunch
Magnolia Bakery
as well as
Hard Rock Cafe Times Square

Yum... I cannot wait for my own food porn.

Love your sense of humor already. Looking forward to your report with pictures I hope.

I will be googling your list after I get off the Dis.

Have a great trip to wdw and nyc.

Hello there DISers!
I'm here at the Portland International Airport! We ate at Panda Express for dinner... lol, I'm not going to write a review of Panda Express. Let's just say it was OK and be done with it.

IKEA is just down the street, we should have nabbed din din there, then we'd have something to talk about.

Anyway, I'd just like to thank all those who are tunned it so far... I will hook more of you soon ;) Until then, I am off so you won't be hearing from me in a while (lucky you).

Until then, enjoy a lovely picture of the D6-D15 gate entrance at PDX and the Rogue Ale House from Wi-fi-ed seat while I wait another 30 minutes to board.

Have a great time!!! Can't wait to hear about your trip (and of course, the food!!!)

Looking foward to your reviews !!

Looking forward to your reviews. My son's just like you: He won't touch shrimp or mushrooms. (Which makes me sad, since those are two of my favorite things to eat.)
