I have been to Disney World 5 times but this will be my first as a single dad. I am taking my 9 year old daughter. We are so looking forward to this trip. We are staying at the CBR and this will be our first time there.
This board has been a wealth of information but can be overwhelming at times too. I love taking pictures but since its just going to me and my child, do I really need to take my on camera or just get a photo pass?
Any other information for a great father daughter trip will be welcomed too. This will be a 5 day 4 night trip in May.
Thanks

And you can also hand your camera to the PhotoPass Photographers and they will snap some shots with your camera. Instead of lugging my digital camera AND my phone, I just used the camera on my iphone 4S and got tons of wonderful pics. And some video snips too! Your daughter will love looking at all the pics and videos of your wonderful vacation. You could even make a little photo album for her after the trip and she can cherish it forever.
I took over 600 pictures last year and most of them were candid. I love taking pictures of the kids waiting for rides, flower and garden topiaries, parades and fireworks just to name a few. Plus, characters are out and about and those pictures you don't usually get with photo pass.
You can get ones with Tinkerbell in your hand at Epcot and MK, holding balloons at MK, holding Simba at AK - they will tell you how to pose and then digitally add the character or magic item into the shot - of course I think there are many more but those are the ones I remember.
