Im getting divorced {sigh}

yep, its true.

My husband and I couldn't take it no more,months of being civil towards each other broke last night when he tried to make an attempt to physically hurt me for the very first time. Trust me he didint get to. We are going to court January 8th. He doesn't want to go to marriage couseling or even try.

Im just upset that it had to come to this after being together for 11 years and married 5yrs. I guess it's true what they say- there is a reason for everything

Please be safe and take care. Statistics show that a woman is at most risk of domestic abuse when ending the marriage. Please consult with friends, family and attorney and find a way to keep distance between yourself and him.

I live in the Chicago area and we have two national news cases close by where the women were in the process of ending their marriages. Both are missing and presumed dead for a couple of years..

thanks you guys, well he went to make an attempt but he walked away and locked himself in the other room. Im glad to have such wonderful support through this time.

My prayer is for you to look at what you had and decide if you were happy and content, or were you just exsisting? I am sure there has been stress for you and hopefully once you get to court, you can reorganize your thoughts and begin the new chapter in your life.
