I'm getting a call tonight from DH!!!

I am so happy! I just got an e-mail from DH that he is going to call tonight at 8pm. This really makes my day.


Today's e-mail:
hey babe whats up i hope you get this by tonight because im
going to try and call tonight about 8pm your time.hopefully
i can get thru everyone else has been calling so im going
to call too.im doing good just waiting for this to end as
soon as posible.im really looking forward to get home.
we had a really bad sand storm yesterday you could not
see anything. well i got to go and hope i can talk to you
guys tonite i love and miss you all of you so so much.

What a great email to receive. I'm looking at my clock on the computer and it says 8:30 (eastern time and I didn't look at your location) but hope right now you are hugging the sound of his voice VERY tightly. Glad you're getting this call today - you really sounded like you needed it after yesterday.

I just got off the phone with him. Well actually I called his mom and my mom afterwards.

It was just so what I needed, and I have felt so much better the past few hours in anticipation of the call. I have had such a smile on my face and felt like a kid waiting for a "boy" to call.

He is just starting to get over a cold, so it was sad to hear his voice like that. He did sound good though. I found out that the A-10 planes that they show with the shark faces are from Pope Air Force Base. Their A-10's are right next to them to the right if you face the shark planes. I know that CNN has a reporter imbedded with the Air Force that constantly reports in front of them.

I talked to him for a few minutes, then the kids talked to him, and I got a few more minutes after them. He is going to try to call me Sunday night. I think it will make it easier to have the call to look forward to.

I still tried to get more ideas from him for care packages. He is so tough, because he says he doesn't need anything, doesn't have room and only sleeps, eats and works.

Hopefully this will give me the energy to make it through the weekend. I already feel so much better that I wondered how I could have felt that way yesterday.
