Just giving DH's ears a break!

I have had my first (4) negatives in feedback today. I bought some diecut shapes for my cards on Feb28th and paid straight away.

I chased and asked for timescales politely 3 times but these were not met and I decided today (day 54!) that enough was enough and asked for refund (which I have now) and left negative feedback.

The seller has come back and claimed they were posted (news to me) and left me -ve feedback for all 4 items. I have of course replied to these with factual info asking what I did to deserve it. but I am so angry especially as her feedback is private so all she gets is a -1 on her feeback score whilst I have the whole sorry mess on mine :guilty:

I know I probably didn't handle it the best (hindsight eh.) but at least I was polite and factual through all communications with her. eBay hasn't worked for me selling but I buy a few bits so I'm not worried about the effect on business its just frustrating

Jo, Ebay is great when it works - but can be a real pain when things go wrong :sad2:
 
I would not worry as most people can spot a retalitory negative.
Put a comment against the feedback but don't get nasty.
The 100% record means nothing. :)
 

hi :wave2: Don't worry about negative feedback. Most people can tell if feedback is retaliated(sp) or honest. If the 4 negatives are from the same person than I think you will only get -1.

Also It is best to leave you feedback public so people can see that your negatives and see that they are not deserved. I am more likely to be specious of some one who hides there negative feedback. at least people can read your response.

Also have you started the item not received process? If you win or your seller does not respond the negative feed back score will be removed. (the comment will stay)
 
I meant to add if you paid by paypal file a non delivery dispute.
If not go through ebay non-delivery dispute as sellers negatives can be removed.
 
My only Neg was left by someone because I left a neg on him .

He claimed his account was highjacked after I paid for a $500 camera kit.However he had a pos. left from someone else with a compairable sale and was still activly useing his account. He would not respond to e-mails after his 1st neg was left from another person .The tracking number he gave me was still just stating PO was waiting for package(this was where he went wrong).

I then did the none ship through PAyPal and he sent a response of the tracking number.I then sent 1 more e-mail telling him I was contacting the PostMaster Gen as itwas the USPS he used .I got the reply of the Highjacking and everything was messed up .I finally got my money back and a nice Neg and come to find out I was 1 of 12 people this happened to .
 
Thanks for the support and advice guys :grouphug: Peace T - I'm glad to say my total purchase was less than $10! What a nightmare you had. Glad it sorted eventually :)

I looked into doing an ebay 'non-delivery dispute' but I have discovered that if I get the -ve removed so does she :confused3 .

Decided that my feedback (now I have replied to it) looks just what it is i.e. pathetic whilst I am adding to what already looks like a really bad month on her stats.

The only thing I don't quite understand is why she gave me a refund so quickly if she had (as she now suggests) sent me everything! ;)
