Not a very hard thing to do. I bought the same exact pants in the same size and only 1 pair fits. Can someone please explain this to me

There are variations in every garment, especially ones that are more form fitting. I always try on 2-3 pairs of jeans in the same size and pick the one that fits the best.

Gosh, you mean I could be a size 8 if only I could find the right pair?

My guess would be a manufacturing error. Perhaps the size was marked wrong or they weren't made within the specs for that size and the error wasn't corrected/caught.

I hope the size that fit was the "right" one :teeth:

It isn't a mis mark error. It is poor manufacturing quality assurance. My DH found a pair of Dockers that he loved. They fit perfectly. So he bought 2 different colors, the same size. When he got home he found that the pair he didn't try on was too small. I measured the waist, it was not the size on the tag. When I took them back I measured about 5 pair before I came up with one that was the correct size. They were off by as much as an inch. Add the lengths are not always as stated either. It is too bad that name brand companies don't seem to care. DH blames it on foriegn workers, but I blame it on corporate greed. Why pay more for it to be cone correctly when you can pay less and have a larger profit margin?

Did I say something "dumb" and not realize it? :o

Or am I just "dumb" 'cause I'm not grasping your comment? :o :o

No you didnt say anything dumb. I just hoped that the pants that fit me were the ones that were correctly sized (because I like that size). I told you I can be confusing

I bought several Polo-brand dress shirts. Exact same model and size, just different colours.

Once I tried them on, even the materials are not exactly the same and the sizes are ALL different except for two of them (which happened to be the same colour).

The same goes with Lacoste Jeans I bought. Same colour, same model, I can't fit in size 38 although I have no problem fitting into a size 36 (I am supposed to be size 36).
