I'm confused about the $95 Reservation fee through MS...

If you book a disney cruise using your points or a stay in a disney hotel on property using points...do you pay that $95 fee?

Don't know about the cruise but you do pay the $95 fee for using your points at any of the resorts other than the DVC resorts.

Yes.non-refundable $95 exchange fee for DCL, non-DVC resorts on property among other exchanges. And if you use points for one of these other options and then need to change reservation dates you'd be charged $95 again.

Yick. I thought they had said at the Boston show anything that was Disney owned you don't pay the $95 fee through MS. I obviously was mistaken. Oh Well, at least I know. Thanks for replying everyone!

Currently there is no $95 fee for the Disneyland Resorts if booked on points.

Hi Rhode Island Quahog,

The $95 fee applies to any option outside of the DVC resorts and currently the Disneyland resorts as M4travels mentioned.

The $95 fee is per reservation and not per person. In regards to the cruise if you use points for 4 people you would only pay one $95 fee.

Unless something has changed very recently that I am not aware of the $95 fee for the cruise has been in effect for some time.

And expect Disneyland to be subject to the $95 fee once the Villas open for occupancy.

However, campsites at Fort Wilderness are currently exempt, but the cabins pay the fee.

I believe you may have heard that wrong. You do NOT pay the fee for anything that is DVC owned....you do pay the fee for EXCHANGING into Disney (CRO) hotels. The cruise and the non-DVC hotels are negotiations made between DVC and each property. THey are not connected to DVC in any other way, so they are exchanges.
