I'm Bummed... change to WDW trip

DH has to go back to CA during our WDW trip at the end of the month....he will miss Sun pm and all day Mon. He will be back early Tue AM (can you say Red-eye! he will be exhausted, but didn't want to miss more than he is, gotta him......he has to go back to meet with the Labor Board Court concerning his long overdue pay from his previous employer, so if he gets it, BONUS, but he will miss out on the fun.

So I spent the afternoon rescheduling the WHOLE trip due to those days we were planning to go to Epcot and AK (His fav's) so shuffled the days around and then tackled all our ADR's luckily it all worked out and still got everything we wanted.

So just had to vent a little....... ......there better now
We have just 23 days left til we see the Mouse and just found out our doc's arrived at the TA this afternoon, so I am really feeling much better now

AWE Lisa, hugs hon! At least he gets to be with you part of the time. And extra money is always good. It means another trip! LOL

Oh, bless your heart! I know how stressful that is to try to shift everything around, and not to have DH there part of the time! At least you got everything fixed, and like Buffy said, more money means another trip!!

Unfortunately if we get the money right away, (we are talking 3 months pay and back expenses so its a very tidy amount) it might be in monthly payments, it has to go towards credit card (from the expenses we incurred through the company) have to buy DH a work truck since he will be back in CA working in Feb, put some aside for those rainy days and hopefully I will finally get my new floors in the house.

Since we only go to WDW every 3 years (golf convention is there) I have plently of time to save for that trip, but there's always DLR.

Just remember, you will still be in WDW, if you have to be somewhere without him, it's a nice place to be. I am glad he is able to get bakc to you so quickly and that all of you changes worked out!

Aww that's a shame. But at least he won't be missing the entire trip! I hope you do get that back pay, even if it's only to pay off credit cards and buying a work truck.
