I am waiting for the pain pills I took earlier to wear off, so I can drive. Then taking the kids shopping at the mall, then to see Marley and me.

I've been at the office for 38 minutes, but it feels like forever. Things are really slow, everyone is out for today, so it's just me and the big box of chocolate that someone left on my desk the other day.

i already returned my christmas stuff i needed to return and i have taken all the decorations and tree down back to normal!!

Just got back from checking out the sales at Barnes and Noble. I bought four calendars (not all for me!) two Christmas books, and a Christmas jigsaw puzzle, all at 50% off. Add in my member's discount, and everything was 60% off.

I am now heading out to lunch at Red Robin with my husband and DD18. We're then going to a local music store so that DD18 can pick out a ukelele. She asked for one for Christmas, but I figured she would rather pick one out herself. I don't know much about ukeleles. We're going to stop at Borders, then head home. Tonight will be the last of the left-overs from Christmas dinner, and gingerbread cake for dessert!

I'm bored too. I am go out tomorrow to the mall and walk around to get exercise.

I have surfing the net all day. Might bake a cake in little while.

All the bored people can come finish cleaning up the kitchen. The rest of the house is pretty much done. Kitchen just has crockpot & rotisseire left to do. Wash the floor & countertops. Make a trip to the dumpster. Laundry from guests beds & towels.

DH has pooped out on me and is taking a nap, so I'm taking a break.

I'm bored at work, too. No calls coming in right now. Was falling asleep earlier. But, of course, it's important for me to be here... yeah, right. Hardly anyone here in the other departments, either. Very, very quiet and very cold.

My car was frozen this morning... that was something new. All the water from yesterday's rain was frozen solid on the roof, hood and trunk and I had to scrape my windsheilds. I'm in Southern California, not far from Disneyland, btw. We don't do that kind of thing here.

Not bored. I'm taking a DIS break in between cleaning appliances today. Yesterday was a nice relaxing do nothing kind of day, so It's cleaning day for me. Actually, it's a cleaning weekend for me.

Just hanging out here for the time being.. Earlier I was copying over more recipes onto index cards, but I hurt my back shortly after we opened our gifts yesterday, so I can't really do any of the things I was hoping to do today..

One thing I really wanted to do was to go up in the attic and find a project that DD, DGD, & I hope to work on together while DGD is out of school this week - and again when she's on winter break - but it looks like that's going to have to wait for a few days..

I'm still bored at work. I think I may be the only one on the floor again, just like Christmas Eve. At least the sun shining in the window has made it warmer. It's like working for Ebeneezer Scrooge over here today. In 6 years with this department, they haven't been this stingy about making someone stay the full day on Christmas Eve (or a day like today when everyone's out).

Be scared, be very scared! I just got back from the mall and it was packed. The parking lot was full (had to be in the right spot at the right moment to get a parking space) and the stores were very crowded.
