I am in a planning lull and have LOTS of holes in my itinerary. I am debating if I should just go with what I have and let the rest "just happen." We have our favorite rides and shows that we always do. I plan to do some fastpasses, but I really don't want to Rambo-tour and I don't like to shop. We LOVE to people watch. I still need to make some PS's. It's just DH and me, mid-40's. We have AP's.

Any comments?

Thurs - May 15 -

6:40 am - depart Burlington VT on US Airways
11:38 am- Arrive at MCO - Reservation with Tiffany towncar with grocery stop (just breakfast stuff, snacks, and my food staple - diet coke)
1:00 ish - arrive at Coronado Springs, check in, BUY E-NIGHT TICKETS FOR MAY 17, change clothes
3:00 - Take the bus to Epcot - (ride Spaceship Earth, Test Track if line is reasonable) we will have an early dinner there but have not decided where (probably Germany or Norway - DH loves buffets). I don't plan to make a PS.

Walk around WS drinking up the atmosphere, try to catch Off Kilter or some of the Flower Power concerts, and finish up with Illuminations.

Fri - May 16 - (Africa Day!)

Lite breakfast in room, then to Animal Kingdom for the morning (Safari, Lion King, Bug, Dinosaur). This is not our favorite park and we are satisfied with a half-day.
Return to CSR mid-afternoon for snack at Pepper Market and pool break.
Boma for early dinner (need to make a PS and figure out how to get there) and then to DTD.

Sat - May 17 -

SLEEP IN! Late breakfast at Maya Grill, hang out at resort pool.

Mid-afternoon - head to MK for parade, fireworks, E-NIGHT. We will probably do a fast food dinner and a dole whip. I realize the park will be a zoo. We probably won't do much other than people-watch until E-NIGHT occurs. (POC, HM, SM, Splash M, Peter Pan, BTTMRR, Buzz, TTA is DH fave)

Sun - May 18 -

Lite breakfast in room, check out of Coronado - boohoo - and move over to a studio at Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Head over to MGM for late lunch (DH loves Sci Fi Dine In) and Star Wars weekend events (we are not big SW fans, but that's ok).

(BTB, WWTBAM, TOT, RNR) DH's fave, Great Movie Ride, is closed for rehab (he almost cancelled our trip when I finally told him) then Fantasmic! - MY FAVORITE!

Mon - May 19 -

Sleep in - late breakfast at Whispering Canyon?

Hang around resort pool, maybe rent some bikes or watermice or a pontoon (?), explore.

Dinner at Ohana (need PS) and view EWP - I've never seen it!

Tue - May 20 -

Lite breakfast in room

Tour some other resorts - I want to see OKW, POR, and CBR.

3:00 - late lunch at Epcot (probably France)
4:30 - DIS meet at the Beaver Tail kiosk in Canada
8:00 - Illuminations Cruise with fellow Disers (thanks Bete)!

Wed - May 21

Need to return to MK for a major ride day.
Breakfast will be cinnamon rolls on Main Street - DH will insist!
Hit all our favorites again.
Where should we eat a late lunch? LTT? Cindy's? Maybe the Concourse at the Contemporary?

Afternoon / evening at the resort, Boardwalk or DTD

Thurs - May 22

Lite breakfast then Epcot to hit anything missed in earlier visits. tour Flower Show.

Return to resort for afternoon break, lunch at Kona?

Go to MGM for our last night's Finale - FANTASMIC!

Fri - May 23

Pack up, head to MK for last tour, sniff-sniff.

3:00 pm - Tiffany Towncar pickup from VWL and return to reality.
6:00 pm - flight to Burlington and start planning next trip.

Wow - this sounds fun!!!!!

This looks pretty action-packed. I don't know why I thought I had lots of holes. Maybe it was just because I had not written it all out.

I think I will go with it.

But, if anyone still wants to comment, go ahead.

Is part of the boredom from the fact that winter just won't go away here in beautiful downtown Vermont? I can relate to that. Have a great time on your trip. If you need someone to carry your luggage let me know.

Before I read your 2nd post, I was wondering where the holes were:p

Have a magical trip...and it will be here before you know it:D

My brother lives in Milton!

You are right about the winter...how did you like that snow the other day? And today is dark and rainy. YUK!

I begin packing today, so if it looks like I need a baggage handler, I will let you know. DH usually does a good job though.

Is it not mind boggling how it can be 80 degrees last week and I am driving through snow this week. This is the first year in many that I haven't been able to head south during any part of the winter and it is taking its toll in lines on my face.

I envy you! Have a great trip! Make sure you make arrangements to have someone shovel your driveway while you are gone! It's only May....

One thing I thought about was I would probably do Boma for lunch instead of Dinner that way you wouldn't have to backtrack. You could do Animal Kingdom and then go to Boma, then go back to your hotel and relax before hitting DTD. It seems far to leave AK, and then later go back to AKL, but that's just me!

Boma doesn't serve lunch. You could do AK in the afternoon and then head over by bus, but you will still have to plan for a ride home.

What I would do: keep AK in the morning (cooler). Take a cab to and from AKL. You are so close, it would'nt make sense to have to go the DTD route.

We love CSR!!!!!

The trip sounds great to me! Dh and I did a one night stay for our anniversary at CSR. No parks. We spent at least one hour talking in the quiet pool. We never did that at Disney before. It was so nice! We had our dinner at Ohana watching the castle turn colors. It was my favorite trip because we weren't running around.

We are going to try to do both AK and AKL on the same day and I think to avoid backtracking we are going to AK and leave around 3:00 take bus to AKL and hang around the resort and try to make the earliest ps for Boma and then head to MGM for Fantasmic.

Maybe something like that would work in your schedule.
