Hi everyone just back from 3 glorious weeks - had a fabulous first time experience at Disney would DEFINITELY go back (especially to do the bits we missed!) Not very good at the trip report thing but below are a few things that MUST be mentioned LOL.

1. Ride KRAKEN at SW - blew my mind!
2. Eat at Tony Romas - had 3 great meals - especially the St Louis Rib Sampler - scrumptious.
3. Discovery Cove - worth EVERY EXPENSIVE PENNY - would most definitely do this again!!
4. TOT and Aerosmith Rock n Roller at MGM - Brilliant
5. Make sure you see the Clyde & Seamore show at SW - saw this twice. Also dined with Shamu - wonderful.
6. MNSSHP absolutely fantastic
7. Universal I of A - great rides - especially Duelling Dragons and the Incredible Hulk!!!!!!!!!!
8. Great food at Hard Rock Cafe and very reasonable.
9. Had a fab meal at Rose & Crown and watched Illumination Display - Fireworks truly amazing!
10. Try Key Lime Pie - luvverlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Any questions please feel free to ask - I'm still no expert like some of you but will do my best LOL!

ttfn got to do some work now (boring zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

Welcome home, Paula. Glad to hear you enjoyed your first trip. I feel that you (and Sharon) and me are 'holiday buddies' as we were there during exactly the same period! Which flight were you on coming home?

Paula, let me know about the dining with shamu experience, we are thinking of doing this next year when we go again.

Jules

Hi Jules

The dine with Shamu was a spur of the moment thing we did on our 2nd visit to SW. It costs if I remember right $28 each. You get given a special pass which goes round your neck for your entrance. You get soft drinks included with the price but alcohol is extra. You get a wonderful buffet which you can keep going up to, plus desserts and the big shamu shortbread cookies (they were nice!) They give you chance to have your meal and then they have 2/3 whales in the pool which run alongside the tables. They have areas where they slide on to the platforms right by you - plus you WILL get soaked as they splash around a bit. I really enjoyed it - it's so wonderful to get so close to these fantastic creatures. I'm sure you will also enjoy it.
