I'm back...

...since yesterday.

Here a short summary

that was...

...good:
Very friendly CM
no crowds on thursday, friday and saturday
very relaxing time (we made it to that)
a nice british family we talked to one evening
attractions
Chuck Wagon Buffet-food
Cheyenne themening and bar
fully dosis amtmosphere on Sunday
christmas atmosphere in general

...bad:
mostly all table service hotel resort restaurants are buffet-restaurants now...when the he.. did that happen???? (Parkside Diner, Chuck Wagon Cafe, Cap Cod,...)
crowds on Sunday
a very annoying french family (spoiled my pullover)
kids that used the corridor as a running track times and times again
rain on thursday and friday, but that was o.k. we had enough rain protection thingies
the busride - couldn't get some sleep
very crowded village on the weekend
cold Cape Cod buffet-food
No Jack

though it seems like there there more bad things it really was a relaxing and nice trip, that took away a lot of stress. the good things have had more importance and made it into a great trip.

I really hope I could write a trip report in december, when I might be not so busy anymore.

Glad you had a great time.We had one day of pouring rain last week that we couldn't get any wetter but it was Disneyland so we were happy.

My dad and mum had the last laugh.They bought cheap waterproof trousers to take with them any my sisters and I laughed at such a fashion disaster but as the rain came down and they put on their waterproof trousers.Two hours later they were dry and we all had rising water levels creeping up our jeans

It's funny we have a similar story: Because my DBf "forgot" to pack his rain-trousers. But I think he didn't want to put them on, because they are coloured in a light red and very eye-catching. The only colour that was available in his size. At the end of a rainy day he wished he hadn't "forgot" them.
I wore black rain-trousers, gumboots and an umbrella, that kept my absolutely dry. I didn't care about my look or I should better say:I persuaded myself that there was no one who thought that I was odd-looking, but there were rather some jealous looks at me.

One addendum to my summary: Our first evening was amazing, though we really weren't very talented as line dancer.

Thanks for your postcard! I haven`t seen it yet but my mum called me saying I had post from DLP and read it to me. Thank you!! Glad you had a great time despite rain and food issues, waiting for your trip report (I know I still owe you mine as well ) Oh and tell us more about the line dancing... you don`t have any pics to share from that?
