Anyone else like me, and avoiding all things 7 dwarfs? I want the ride to be a complete "blow my socks off experience!!"

Probably a good idea. And if I have a trip scheduled for anytime in the next year I would probably do the same for the most part.

I am watching all the videos, not only because I am so excited, but I want to see if I need to take a motion sickness pill before riding in September! :lmao:

I am not watching any videos, I will read or look at pics but no video so I can have some surprises still when I hopefully ride it. But it is looking like I a may not ride since Disney is taking so long to open it :(

I haven't watched any of it. I like to be surprised. Let's just hope that it's actually open by the time I get there in early June.

I think you can watch videos all day of a ride and still not get anything near the full experience you get actually riding it. For example, no video is going to give you the physical sensation of those swaying cars. Speaking for myself, I think they'll make for a smoother ride than where the cars don't sway (coordinated rather than skidding turns, etc.). Also, this ride has a lot of theming details that no video is going to capture fully. PotC and Splash don't look like much fun in videos of them, but being on the rides is a different experience altogether than videos.

Yes! I did the same for Test Track and Haunted Mansion refurbs and the Little Mermaid ride, too :)

I completely agree. I just watched the latest video and am delighted by what I saw, but am by no means under the illusion that what I saw can compare at all to the real thing. Just like watching a travel show can't compare to actually being there. It just whets the appetite.

Which means, I guess that I just whet myself.;)

I am doing the same thing. I want to see things for the first time when I am actually there in September. I know watching video won't be the same as riding but still I'd like to discover something new to me for the first time. I am doing the same thing with the parade. I haven't watched any of those videos either, but it is hard. September is a long time away!

Well, I TRIED to not peek at any spoilers but curiosity has gotten the best of me and I have watched most anything that I've come across. Hoping it will be open by my WDW vacation!

I didn't watch any of the videos or photos for the little mermaid ride... Then when I finally went on it .. I didn't like it... So I'm a little concerned about 7 dwarves... Still avoiding videos and photos again though...

I think that is an excellent idea... But alas I have no self control!

Good for you for having so much self restraint!!! :goodvibes

My DD10 is doing the same thing, she wants to be surprised.

On the other hand, DD7 and I have been watching everything!!!!!

Yeah, I haven't been watching any of the videos or anything. I just want to experience it!
