Have you noticed whether the walkway between the Poly and GF is open or have you heard anything about it closing?

Enjoy the rest of your time there! So jealous.

The path is open, however, it has taken a slight detour. Dh jogged it this morning. So you can still get to the health club, however, you cannot get all the way to the GF.

If you are at the Poly and can get to the Spa, but not all the way to the GF, how do the guests at the GF get to the spa?

Not a dumb question. I was thinking the same thing. There seems to be some conflicting reports all over the boards on the status of the path.

I'm imagining the path looking somewhat like a maze with everyone running around inside like rats, trying to find their way out.

Hi all! Thanks for all the good wishes!

I will get 100% positive confirmation regarding the path. My info is that the spa is closed but the health club is open. Dh ran the path this am so I will find out for sure if you can continue to GF.

We went to BB today, and got poured on for about 20 to 30 min. Funny though, there was a mass exodus when it poured- thought that was funny for people in swimsuits to be running for cover. After that however the weather was great! We left around 3 to go back to Poly and take showers, and get ready for dinner with the stepsisters. It was hilarious!

Lots of monorail issues though. Second time since we are here that it's gone down. Right now we are going to watch EWP (with a lapu lapu of course) and watch wishes! Be back soon!

Me again! Have confirmation regarding the path. My apologies for the confusion earlier. You CAN indeed go all the way from Poly to GF and vice versa.

After leaving GF, the monorail was down. Some of our party decided to walk back from GF to Poly. Dh said that the old path has just been moved about 30 feet, and it runs under the monorail. I hope this clears up the confusion, and again, my apologies for my misinformation.

Right now we are sitting on the beach, just watched EWP, and the weather is beautiful. There is an amazing warm breeze as we wait for wishes. Looks like a perfect time to go get a lapu lapu.

Tomorrow is Epcot, weather permitting. I'll keep you posted!

Without a doubt, Poly.....and we've stayed at a few.....

Btw, it's forecast to just have scattered t storms today, so typical Florida weather. Not really any effects from Irene! Thanking God for that!

Thanks so much for the update on th walkway!! Now when I get to the GF I can still sneak over to the Poly easily since I am going to be missing it this trip!

Hi all! It's beautiful (but hot) here at the world! We are at epcot. I am waiting for dh and dd to do mission space (not for me), and then we will do test track. Lines are very long, soarin was 55 min at 11:30, and test track is now 55 min. We need to be out of here by 3:00 to go to DTD. We want to do some tshirts and retail therapy, and we have an ADR at Rainforest Cafe at 5pm. After that we will return to Epcot for illuminations.

So glad Irene did not effect us! Praying for those along the coast!

Oh! We ate at 1900 park faire last night, and imo, the food has improved. Better choices and more delicious. We eat there because dd likes the stepsisters, but I've always thought the food was kind of eh... Better this year IMO.

Why do you think its so crowded? Figured most families would be home now for kids school?
