No I haven't booked a holiday

Tomorrow is the day we find out whether dd is having a little boy or girl! she has opted to find out the sex of the baby and is having a scan tomorrow.

When I had my 3 I didn't want to know what I was having, I wanted to be surprised!! 1 boy and 2 girls!
How about you-did you want to know?

I found out with both mine - I am no good with surprises It is all girls on my side of the family so it wasn't a shock to find out I was having a girl!

The second time when I was told I was having a boy I was in shock.

We didnt tell anyone else but we got out names chosen and a few bits of pink and blue

Ooooh!!! How exciting!!! We wanted to know for all 3 of mine - just meant we had the surprise sooner rather than later...

On our first one I didnt want to know, we had a girl, on the seond, I wanted to know and DW didnt, the midwife, therefore said she couldnt tell me, so I said, I have worked it out for myself!

She said, how? I told her and she said I was the first person to pick up on it, i was correct, it was a Boy.

Hi, I wanted to know with both of mine but DD had her back to my stomach so couldn't see, and DS had his legs crossed so again couldn't see!!

I guessed wrong with both, had the name Thomas picked out only for DH to get his choice of Chloe, and second time I had Georgia picked only for us to eventually get a Thomas!!

You must be so excited Jeanette !! I didn't want to know with either of mine but when I went for the final scan before my second boy was born, they did hint that I wouldn't need to be making too many changes in my lifestyle, so I worked it out myself, that I was having another boy !!

DH and I both wanted to know as it just made it easier really to buy clothes and do the nursery! I really didn't want to buy all whites or lemons/beiges, wanted to buy either pink or blue bits.

We both decided on Joshua for his name early on in the pregnancy ( I wanted Taylor, DH did not ). We only really chose one name for a girl, which was Ellie.

Don't know why but I just knew I was having a boy before we had the scan, always kept looking at boys clothes

Will the baby be your first Grandchild? I bet you and your DH are really chuffed

Oh how exciting Jeanette, how far along is she now ?

There are some gorgeous 101 Dalmatian outfits at the Disney Store at the moment - I love looking at baby clothes (though I'm in no hurry to be a Nana )

I never had the choice of knowing what I was having, but I don't think I'd want to know - I think I like the idea of it being a surprise

were you disappointed Sue that you guessed what you were having, I mean that they hinted !
I have had the odd stroll around mothercare, wow- have things changed! Have noticed there are more pink and blue things and the lemons/whites etc seem to be in the minority.

Hi Jeanette,
I wanted to know with my first(i am a planner,like everything to be done,needed to know to sort out bedroom colours etc..)but DD was having none of it kept her legs crossed the whole time-the sonographer had some spare time so he was getting me to touch my toes and gently jog around the room-but no she would'nt budge.So she was a complete suprise-and we ended up with the norm-blues+yellows.Then the 2nd time around we wanted to know again-and DD was'nt shy at all legs wide open for the sonographer to see her in all her glory. .Make sure you let us all know tomorrow.

we didn't find out with Ellie but when i had my 20wk scan with matt they picked up a kidney problem that mainly occurs in boys so we were 99% sure he was a boy
