I'm in too! I frequent (mostly lurk) on the Community, Budget, Family, Theme Parks, Transportation, and Orlando Boards. I tend to stick to safe topics and stay away from anything too controversial, so I never get noticed.

That is exactly what I do. I think the one time I gave my opinion on something, somebody jumped all over me for it - and that was the end of me trying to discuss anything other than my favorite kind of cheese, my bag choices or how much I love my cats.

I'm a wanderer too, and op, I see you are in Michigan also!! Have never been to the UP, but have been as far north as MacInac Island. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the UP.

Awww....I have found my people!!! I am a lurker mostly (I found this board in 2006 or 2007 and most of my posts are from right around the time I am planning a trip. I would have alot more but I can't tell you the number of times I have typed out some long post to someone's question only to erase it for whatever reason. I don't have any DIS friends either....

It's tough, but sometimes it helps to type something out, regardless if you intend to hit send or not.

I'd rather type and delete than the website time me out in the middle of a long response and I lose what I type. Not that I can speak from experience there...

Not wandering much today. Less time so mostly just popping into the CB, Welcome Board and disABILITIES. When I am bored I like to read the Family, Budget, Tips and Scrapbooking. Sometimes the Theme Parks. But I also like to scan the main forum page and will often end up clicking on any thread title that catches my eye.

I feel the same way!!! I just want to stop in and say hello as well. I often find myself posting on a thread and either nobody will reply to what I said or they will have some snide comment to it. It usually leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But then I realized not all the people on the Dis are like that I just need to find the good ones.

We should call ourselves the nomads or something.
