DH and I just closed while staying at SSR last week. We bought in at the minimum points because it is just the two of us and we have been visiting WDW on average every other year for the last 14 years.
I was wondering what the historical increase has been in the price per point over the years? If we decide to buy more points in the near future, I want to think about what kind of price increase we may encounter and how often and what time of year the increases have occurred. Is there ever any advanced notice in point price increases?
We are sooo excited to be members. It's something we have thought of doing for over 12 years when the points were almost half of what they cost now. I had no idea how wonderful the DVC properties are until a change in our reservations from Coronado Springs last week put us at SSR. We absolutely LOVED it and could not imagine coming back and staying anywhere else but a DVC property; next time in a 1 bedroom at AKV.
